5.5 rebounds a game. I need a link. Surely at his size this can't be true.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/stats?statsId=3514

I need a real link. I do not classify anything from ESPN(Every Sportscaster Pees on the Knicks) network as real. I need real stats. Come on TrueBlue you can do better than that. I will not stand for this anti-Curry propoganda.

I don't think there's any doubt that Curry is not worth 2 lottery picks. But being honest, there are very few players who are- AND THAT is precisely why Isiah needed to get more protection on the picks. To assume he was gonna add enough wins to our record to keep us out of the top 10 was also a bad judge of his talent/skillset- though I'd say even the biggest doubters of Curry thought Larry Brown and the roster he got that year would've resulted in about 15-20 more wins. He had Marbury coming of a career best year efficency wise and several guys that despite their flaws, had the perception that the arrow pointing up on their production.

I did not. I tried to warn you guys. It's not the coach. It's the players. I tried, I tried, I tried.........

A 33 win team adding Curry, Richardson, Antonio Davis, 3 talented young draft picks including a lotto pick, and a hall of fame coach getting 38-43 wins should've been a relative certainty. The balance to the roster wasn't that bad at the time, and Stephon Marbury was like 3 times the player then that he has become now.

I came onto this site everyday while this board was screaming that we would be "Phoenix EAst" now that we signed LB. I told everyone to temper their enthusiasm. I said that LB would be long-term move. That the results would not show up for a few years. That during his first year he would want to bring in his own players. That he would spend the first year mixing and matching line-ups trying to find the magical line-up that would win on that particular night. That we would not win consistently until we BALANCED THE ROSTER.

Now, none of us expected 23 wins. But there were some that tried to warn. We were called names.....We haven't forgotten that.

PS: I have coached unbalanced line-ups before. I know what they bring.

I think one of the main things that hurt us was that we had the draft (and signed James) before we hired the coach. Now I don't know that Isiah would've listened to Larry, but maybe the approach would've been slightly different.

You were right. You tried to warn me. I was wrong. I didn't listen.

I take back all the terrible things I said about you.

Bip also warned me about the use of fossil fuels and their contribution to global warming. This was back in 1948. I didn't listen, and failed to stop the widespread adoption of the automobile and other machines that contribute greenhouse gases. Now I really regret not listening.

Listen to Bip. He knows stuff.

"Phoenix East" was always a stupid Isiah used car sales pitch line. We didn't have the coach or personnell for that. I don't think LB was ever really thinking about Phoenix East and that certainly wasn't the reason why I thought we'd be better.

"Phoenix East" is yet another one of those great Isiah pitchlines that made no senselike "Frye reminds me of Tim Duncan," "We are younger and more athletic," "Shotblocking is overrated" and "Being under the salary cap is overrated."

That's sort of like screaming "Jessica Alba!" when you're screwing Anucha Browne-Sanders.

That's would be personal, if it happened (which it didn't) and therefore, I would deny it.

It was an Isiah invention that was followed by many of our ardent supporters. It's one thing to think we were going to be better, it's another thing to think we were going to take a step to the next level. That's what I was warning against. Yes, we had the ability to win a couple more games, but we weren't getting out of the category of: inconsistent, mediocre teams that needed major changes. This is what I tried to warn.

If I could leave you with one thought, remember, I am always right. In the future if I am not listened to, I swear to God that every single post on this board is going to have the F-word in it. The F-word. You have one day.
