there's no way i'll ever be able to root for any other team but the Knicks, no matter how bad they continue to be for the next 20 years... i don't blame people if they give up, but i just can't switch allegiances to teams that i've been rooting for almost my entire life... same goes for my Giants & Yanks... it just makes it that much sweeter when they finally do win that championship you've been waiting for all that time... i know when my Giants won it all in '86 i was as happy as i'd ever been as a sports fan... same thing when the Yanks won it all in '96 after going so long w/o a championship... if this team ever gets it together & wins one, i'm gonna have that same feeling, & i wouldn't trade it for years of rooting for a better team that i don't have much emotional attachment for to begin with.

DJ and myself have tried to turn people on to Toronto because not only do you get to watch a fairly exciting team that actually runs a system, you also get to see a vision and plan being implemented.

I also have suggested watching the Golden State Warriors.
