Craw can be a good starter for this team... maybe not Allstar levels but there's not many PG's in the game that can check him 1 on 1 other than maybe Kidd & Billups... his defense & shot selection is the issue, but you pair him w/a defensive minded G who can play off the ball & hit the open jumper & add a big who can play low post defense & block shots, & this team can succeed IMHO.
and preferable a 2 with actual size (as opposed to our midget nate) with a legit outside shot so we don't have to depend on Craw for outside shooting.
Craw, though, is a tweaner in every sense of the word - half pg/half sg, unstoppable one game, can't score to save his life - half all star, half scrub - half starter, half bench player.
Guys like Raja Bell, Fred Jones, would be excellent fits next to Crawford.
Fred Jones would be perfect except for the fact that he's not a great 3 pt. shooter... Raja is a good 3 pt. shooter so he would make guys pay for leaving him open on the perimeter when Jamal drives or 1 of our bigs gets doubled.
