If you can develop a jump shot in one off season then everyone would be three point shooters...

point being? If he's not gonna take jump shots, what's the point in dedicating an entire off season working on your jumpshot, especially when we have another post player taking the jumpshots. He should have been spending his off season doing cardio, cardio, cardio, cardio and dieting. Maybe lifting some weights.

He should always be doing cardio...It should be a lifestyle thing with him because of his body type...My point was that it will take some time to develop a jumper...I remember it taking several years for Oakley to learn to hit in game jumpers...Those guys hit those shots in practice but in game it's different...From what I hear, Curry is a 80-90 percent free throw shooter in practice, but we all know it's much worse than that in game...Lee thought he improved his jumper in the off season but it's just tougher in game...

agreed- but at least lee has put some up. that's out of desperation. why not give curry some different looks- when zach is out let him face up and shoot an open j?

Nate needs to work on his post-up game to became a complete player...

Yep... and I forget to mention.
Next summer eddy will concentrate on cross-over dribble. Craf will give him some lessons how to "curry" the ball

The biggest need from Curry is defense and rebounding...If he can pull down 11 boards and block 1.5 shot he would be loved here...I'm not sure these players understands this....It's all about effort with Curry...He needs to expend all his energy on the defensive end and on the boards...With that he can score 10 point a game and I would love the guy...

If this can be done, it changes the whole makeup of this team....But everyone wants to be a scorer...

See this is the arguement I've been making the whole time. If he was more devoted to just getting into shape, he'd HAVE the energy to play defense, board AND be the dominant offensive player. I don't even care about the blocked shots actually with Eddie. I know he's not a shotblocker and he doesn't have the instincts of someone like Dalembert or Marcus Camby. But I do ask that he try as hard as they do and move much more quickly on help defense. He doesn't though, and time and time again, he's shown that he's not commited to getting in shape, and he just wants to be a good scorer and that's all. That's why I just say trade him while he's still arousing the rest of the league with his offense.

Block 1.5 shots??? It takes him three games to do that! Let's be realistic here.

I'm really impressed with Lee's improved free throw shooting...He has also added some low post moves...I think they need to run some plays through him in the posts as well...

I really don't want to see Lee's post moves. I wanna see him can some 15-18 footers.

I wanna see Lee get back to where he was last season, and be a dominant rebounder.

seriously... the last thing we need is another guy clogging up the low post... D Lee needs to practice more on that midrange jumper on the baseline cuz the other teams are giving him that all day.

I agree, because he is also a pretty good passer.

Unselfish

Lee at center (the position he played at Florida), against some matchups where size is not an issue, would be worthy of a first or second look.

hold up, did I mention I love David Lee?

You can't believe this organization because it is trash, and second rate. They have a horrible relationship with the media, and treat everyone like garbage. Isiah is trying win games he doesn't care about white people, etc.

Any reports about Eddy are going to be false because of what we gave up for him. The only positive so far is his turnovers are down. He is playing ok ball nothing special.

As usual with these players everyone thinks they are better than they are and doens't make the necessary offseason improvement.

Overweight players: Zach, Curry, Richardson-that's our frontcourt is it any wonder we are a step slow on defense and give up so many points.

Jumpshots-Balkman Jefferies, Lee (although his post game has improved, like his ft% he might be the only player on the entire team)

Not one player has shown any improvement, Curry could easily blk one shot a game but he is just lazy this entire team comes out every game a step slow and it's a disgrace because they can be a good team if they try.

The real problem is Isiah's offense, dump down, dump down, Marbury is not effective, Q is there just to space the floor because our post guys can't kick the ball out so his presence is useless
with the first team.
