This isn't football or baseball where having a lot of 'good' players can make you great.

Teams that go far in the playoffs have the best players in the game.

We don't have a top ten player. And I doubt we even have a top 20 talent.

Ummm detroit just went to the finals twice in a row. Not one of their starting five is one of the "best players in the game."

All their starters are much better that ours. Soooo much better that it is even a joke to compare.
Each of them is in top 10 in the East. Billups and Rip is one of the best guard duos in NBA if not the best.
And Sheed, McDyess, and Prince is the best defensive group in the league with strong offense.

Never its all about what it "can" be and what we "expect" it to be next year.

By the way, this team hasn't been mediocre in a while. We've been one of the worst 10 teams in the league the last 3 years, and again this year. To me mediocre is middle of the pack. We're not.

Yeah we've stunk up the joint the past 4yrs haven't come close to Mediocrity. And why did Luva start off in his first reply with "Let's Be Realistic"?

That's the problem with many fans their diagnosis of this team hasn't been realistic and they base everything on Chance.

it's pretty sad when reaching mediocrity even seems like an impossible goal at this point.
