Because Deron is a top 5 pg in the league and took his team to the conference finals in his second year in the league.

Marbury hasn't won one series and crawford has never been to the playoffs, the knicks happen to suck no one wants them to but that's just the way things are.....

again, what does all of that have to do with the topic of this thread?

the topic was about jamals move, which was great.

It has nothing to do with all the other junk beign posted, has nothing to do with global warming, WMD's, charles manson, marylin Manson, Kobe bryant, it is about Jamals move. And it WAs GREAT!!

yea, deron drove by and scored on the other end, that is what shoot first PG's do. Deron really is no different than jamal and marbury.. he just got ate up on that play by crawford.. that was just nasty, no other way to put it.. Had that been kid, he would have ran the other way and fed carter for a nasty dunk....

I could care less about Jamal's move. If league allowed more street into the game Jamal would hands down be a Top 5 player in that respect. We've seen him do ridiculous stuff before. Every great player has been chitted on in his career. Deron got his dose yesterday but at the end of the day Jamal is a 40%fg 2 guard with very little to almost no fundamentals in his game, very erratic and unsteady that can OOHAH! you every now and then over the course of an 82 games season. Meanwhile Deron will be in position to either play/win a championship so he'll have the last laugh over Jamal. Not to mention he got his Oky Doke on yesterday quite a few times. Jordan's been dunked on, Patrick's been dunked on, Dwight Howard's been dunked on, Gary Payton has been Crossed The Fuch over, Scottie Pippen has had his ankles broken, Dwayne Wade has been dunked on, Kobe has had his shot swatted to Kingdom Come and on and on and on. But those are just footnotes in terms of memory over their body of work. All Jamal did was contribute to us sliding a little in the Lottery chances to get Rose(or other Top Lottery talent) which we'll probably end up at the end of the season with some crappy 10-13 pick in the draft because he and Marbury decided on their terms when to get up for a game. I mean Jamal has thrown the ball off the backboard before in games and dunked on fools, crossed people up like no other, dropped 52 mind you but before that game was played yesterday he was pretty much MUD to most and now he's being binkied again. We'll see what happens Thursday against Boston hopefully this will be a game they take seriously and play hard too.

with all of that said, it was still a great move.. I could care less what the future holds for deron, in the moment that was one of the nastiest moves you will ever see....

THE END>>

I see moves like that at 24Hour Fitness every week and at the local playgrounds in the hood all the time. At the end of the day Jamal Sucks

Now Burn The Book!

and neither are those hacks at 24hour fitness doing it in front of 20 thousand screaming fans, against other pro players.... why can't you give him credit for a fantastic move... no one is asking you to pledge alleigence to Jamal...

Cause he's a hater and thats all he do.

Heh. Its almost as if these guys have automated responses. They are damn near talking to themselves as anything, and I mean anything Knicks related is skewed towards estrogen level bitchiness. Nobody declared that Crawford was better than Deron, or that CRAWFORD HAS ARRIVED!! ; just a simple appreciation of athletic excellence that warranted a top play nod from NBA TV.

Where is Cam'ron when you need him. You mad!

What a move.....i first thought he just dribbled behind the back.....he did but never bounced it back.....he just switched hands and went up with his right hand.

Nice move that I will try to ad to my wackness.

That was a pleasure to watch. No one is nominating Jamal for the all star team. But that was a beautiful move.

Before I go to bed tonight, I will be down on bended knee, I mean on my knees and praising Jesus himself for that move, made by Jamal Crawford himself.

You know I'm tryin' to bust that out that nasty 'ish in the next pickup game. Jamal should have peered into the camera and said: Results may vary!

exactly... It was a great move, has nothing to do with jamals shooting % compared to deron williams or even jamals play compared to every SG in the league.. It was a hell of a move, that probably only he could pull off in a NBA game..

Just like the pictures posted on another thread of dwight howard going over Duncan for the game winning allyoop..

should we say, well that wasn't a great dunk because duncan has 4 rings while howard has none? or that Duncan is still the best player in the league? come on... enjoy the moment for once!!! even if that moment involves a knick doing something exciting..

Question:

How many Knick fans end up in the hospital after attempting to duplicate this move.

I've already come close to busting a lamp in my living room attempting it at 1/3 speed........See this is why I stick to jumpshots
I just hope that people will like me

I think it's a pretty cool move. I think Jamal must've stole it from me, 'cause it looks just like one of mine. Oh, he simplified it a bit, but I still recognize my signature style.

That move was absurd. Jamal broke Deron's ankles, both of his knees and maybe a hip on that play.

Just don't step on the cat. I think the poor guy's suffered enough already.

You gotta love it. Jamal actually pulls off one of his Rucker moves after 50attempts or thereabouts without being called for a violation and now he's being venerated. The sad part he'll have all these local groupies telling him how sick that move was filling up his head with joy and he'll proceed to try and pull that move or the likes off over the next couple of weeks killing momentums, creating turnovers, etc etc because he'll be called on those violations. In many respects him pulling that move off was one of the worst things that could have happened.
