Any player playing in the backcourt with Kobe Bryant should look half decent cmon.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Get rid of EY and Zach. Don't trade our one and only big with a team first attitude.

if we have a guard heavy draft coming up, why not wait till then before moving lee for farmar?

The problem is we need 2-3 guards and a SF. You're right we need regime change but what if we dont get it? Look how they hyped the *formidable* frontline:) They won't deviate from that avenue after game 11--although it is quite apparent they should. On top of it--is Dolan ready to eat even more money? He's paid Wilkins Cheney Layden[who knows if they are all still getting paid?] Larry Brown and JUST extended IT--he would then have to pay for someone new with big bucks AND their new staff. Then you say eat Marbury's money----maybe Microsoft but I dont think Cablevision can just throw around tens of millions of dollars on top of the nearly hundred million they shuffle out for players pay alone+luxury taxes. At some point MONEY will be the issue--if it wasnt I think IT might be gone. Just terrible upper-management and I truly believe that Dolan thinks that his patience will make this turn into the Rangers which it cant/wont with the players we have.

I actually DO NOT want to trade Lee but I would IF I could get the right player[s] back. I think David while a great player high IQ hustler--i mean everything you want STILL is NOT Curry and Im sure David would be the first to tell you that.

I like the Garcia and Williams trade for Lee. That seems like a smart move. I would then look to move Crawford for cap space and a draft pick. Miami, Clev, and Lakers could use a scorer like Crawford. We probably could do a trade of Crawford to Cleveland for a resigned varejo (?), who would give us most of what Lee did. I would then look to move Randolph to a team like the Sixers who could use a PF. Randolph for Miller and a second round pick would be a good deal. We then Hardaway Marbury until we can trade him over the summer. Your lineup would be:

Miller
Garcia
Balkman/Q
Varejo/Williams
Curry

We then would have Nate, Chandler, and Mardy on the bench.

This would be the start of a team that can actually play smart. If we get lucky with our first round pick and can make a good trade with Marbury, we could be back in the playoffs by next year.

Bottom line is change is needed starting with Marbs and Isiah.

After that? Who cares who your hard on is for. David lee is on the wrong team. Knicks have zach and curry too. Somebody has to go. Lee is the easiest and he could definately pull garcia or anybody still in his rookie contract. I think lee has to go. We can send him a fruit basket or through him a party at Scores.....no hard feelings man, we love you but the team is first.

John salmons and garcia would be awesome in ny. If the knicks could get both or even artest and garcia then beautiful. Real do it all guys that can handle pass and score. Lets go!

David Lee is NOT on the wrong team. He is a true Knick. Unfortunately, about 75% of Lee's teammates are on the wrong team.

So the knicks should trade 75% of the team to build around david lee?

No, they should trade or buyout about 75% of the team and keep David Lee as an important starter or 6th man. (You're the only who said anything about building around him.)
