I think sometimes Q plays lazy and falls in love with the 3. He just sort of camps out there.
could be that he is trying to spread the floor for his 2 big men. It's a chicken and egg thing. Q is a power guard.... should he post up or let Curry Zbo get the ball in the post.
Ball movement is not there. Cutting is not there. Pick and roll doesn't even exist.
This is what has been bugging me. If you look at the times this team has been successful, it has been the games where we got full team involvement in the offense. Guys are moving and cutting and the team is passing the ball quickly and decisively. Now due to what I believe is Isiah panicking, the team has slowed everything down so much and oversimplified the offense and it can't work like that. There's no deception and defenses have no problems clogging up the paint and making it impossible to score inside. We need to get back to the guards attacking, guys setting picks and guys moving. make the defense work. Many have said this before, but don't always make Curry the primary. Let him and even Zach and Lee, get some easy looks off of guard penetration. Drive and dish, pick and rolls, give and go... it's not that hard. I blame this on Isiah, cuz these players are more than capable of doing these things, but they're obviously being told to focus on only one thing and so we've lost all the continuity and flow to the offense.
in the 1st 3 games you saw the higher FG% and the higher Assists. That wasn't a fluke that was the team playing to it's strengths. I don't know what we've been doing recently, but it's not the offense that we expected to see or that we MUST play to succeed.
OH YEAH I almost forgot. PLAY CHANDLER OVER Q!!!! We've seen what Q can do, how about giving the kid a long look?

It's because the guards don't know how to run a team, can't run the team and don't know how to kick-start the offense. The ball is in Marbury and Crawford's hands and those 2 keep ****ing up.
I wouldn't argue that, but at a certain point the coach has to pull the team together and explain to them what needs to be done to get things going. It's the way this works. Teams often get off track during the course of a game and it's the coach who stops play and gets them back on track. Isiah didn't do that. He couldn't figure out how to get the message across. They kept coming back out and looking exactly the same.
From what I can gather, he must have been telling the guards to just get it inside and that got translated into just throw it in and stand there. How about some sets that didn't start and end the exact same way? Try something different to throw the opposing D off. I didn't see that, did you? I was specifically paying attention to what they did when they came back out and for the most part they didn't really do much. How about going with a pick and roll 2 man game with Zach and Steph or Jamal? What happened to the nice Curl play or perhaps having the defense chase Jamal a la Rip Hamilton. Do something to force the D to react and then slip Curry or Zach into the paint for easy buckets.
Q is a problem, cuz at this point he's basically a lowercase Balkman without the athleticism and speed. He can't shoot right now and he does little else except rebound and defend a bit. It's time to get Chan in there. Q may be done or maybe he's just not all the way back, but whatever it is, he's not getting it done.
