Zach's biggest problem is that he's indecisive when he catches the ball. When he's catching the ball its almost as if he's waiting for the double team to come he needs to catch do a quick look at the defense and either kick it out if its a double team or go into a quick move if its single coverage.

What he should do is take it up hard and take the foul everytime. No matter if he has one, two or even three men on him. Make them draw the fouls, to get them into foul trouble and back the other teams defense off of our inside game. Force the other team to earn it, so it's no question that they are fouls. Some players are very good at this. Some players even draw flagrant fouls and those lead to technicles on coaches who bitch on the side. Every point counts. That is just 'one' very fundamental thing to do on a basketball court. The main thing for the guy getting hit is to keep your cool. Keep your head, becaue a fight only gets you ejected and suspended. But keep taking it to the hoop and finish. All great power forwards do this. They take it hard and they play if smart.
I'll never trust this' team again.

I don't know you have to look at these areas, how could they do well

Curry 0.5blks 0.4stls 0.6ass 2.2tos
Zach 0.1blks 0.9stls 1.1ass 3.7tos

We knew this before the seaosn, we knew you couldn't win with guards that can't play defense and bigs that are the worst in the league at protecting the paint

0.6blks between our starting ****ing C/PF

There are at least 10 guards in the league that block more by themselves than these clowns. God forbid Isiah brings in someone that can protect the rim.

And Isiah had Bynum at his finger tips and let him go by. I called that one to. Instead, taking Channing, who's no longer here, because he turned into a bust. Isiah and others wanted instant gratification.
I'll never trust this' team again.

The Dice trade was not that bad if you look at how he was playing before he got hurt. Dice had injury history but he was a true professional and a good character. Im not going to defend the trade but only to point out that ZDumb has a good history statistically speaking but not one that helps mold unity or character on or off the court. He was a salary dump. Thats all.

Eddy is a good guy but his constitution is not strong to plow thru pain or fatigue. He doe not have that kind of athletic stamina to push his body. For a man his size he is very graceful and still an NBA player capable of doing very nice things.

Im still reserving my opinion on eddy as we need to lower our exectations a bit on him. He is who he is, and Isiah overpaid for him. Thats not his fault, its Isiahs.

But what good was he to us when he got hurt?

How much lower of expectations can we go do you think? Maybe.....uuummmm......four more years of about the same old Curry will convince you?

Yeah, why reserve your opinion? What more do you need to see in order to be able to form an opinion?

the difference between zach and eddy is that zach actually likes basketball.

i was isolating on eddy during the game yesterday - he make NO effort to help on defense. he sees a man cutting right in front of him and he doesn't step up, he just watches the guy go right to the rim. just terrible.

and zach is slowly looking like a guy that's really all about him getting his shot off.

this is an aboslute mess.

Whenever an opposing player goes straight to the basket for an uncontested layup, I always think that Curry must have been caught on the perimeter. But then the replay inevitably shows Curry standing 3 feet away from the basket just letting the player go to the rim and never leaving his feet or raising his arms.

The guy doesn't care about basketball. He cares about getting paid.

Half our team is just like that. Im sorry but this team needs to be rebuilt.

It can't happen just this minute though. We'll have a long wait. I'm thinking about going on vacation. I'm depressed.

I know, but is it hard to take the first step? This is such a pathetic situation...

has any player on this roster made a noticeable improvement from last year or have most of the players settled in to who they are going to be?

I think what we're seeing right now is Isiah & Marbury are toxic, and its effecting all the other players.

Before we can accurately judge whether Zach can have any value- I think we've got to sack Isiah and let a new coach come in and assess whether Marbury can buy in- if he can't, send Marbury home and tell him to rot.

Then, give the new GM/Coach combo about 20 games to work things out.
