Yes. I believe that It's just a matter of time before we TAKE OFF!!!!!!!!!!! I beleive that people like us need to stay strong. We just need the dust to settle and we will be on the road to .500. I do not believe that there is a structural problem with the roster. And even if there is, we have so much talent that we can just override any issues we have.
I just hope that people will like me

I can't believe you guys are ready to bail on Isiah as coach of this team. This is only his first season (last season was spent recovering from the Larry Brown season, so it doesn't really count.)

Isiah has brought together a good bunch of guys. They are a championship team. Sure, there have been a few bumps in the road and a few mistakes made, but I still feel that we have the right guys, the right coach, the right GM, and the right owner. We just need to stay the course and support the team. SHEESH! YOU GUYS WITH THE FREAKIN DOOM AND GLOOM! ENOUGH ALREADY!

What's this about there being no structural problems with the roster? No one is suggesting that. Look this is my point. The team wasn't perfect coming into the season and ALL OF US agreed on that. We had a fairly similar take on what the expectation for the team should be this year as presently constructed. We all feel the team needs more improvement to truly become a contender. So why now try to make it seem like there's something more we were looking for from this team?

We knew that we had a poor defensive team and that if it was going to be successful the offense had to operate at a high efficiency. Over the 1st few games the team was actually doing those things and all we needed was to work on the defensive side of the ball. Isiah has made so many bad calls and now the team's confidence is shaken. The offense which should've been a strength is lost. His rotation patterns have looked wildly inconsistent after starting off very consistent. Isiah has lost control of the situation and the team reflects that. It's up to him to get it back. To direct the team thru this and get them righted. If he can't then get someone else in here that can.

I don't know what is going on in the NBA this year, but several teams have started off totally out of it and seemingly unable to get on track. We actually started off OK and then lost it. At first it was just a little bit off and then Isiah made things WORSE and now the team isn't doing ANYTHING right.

There's NOTHING wrong with the STRUCTURAL integrity of this team. This is a championship team that Isiah has BROUGHT together. We know that they're not perfect, but, as you know, other teams have also had a bad start this SEASON.

Very funny. If you want to make fun of my posting style and not actually make any substantive points, that's fine.

How about this? No one has said that there's nothing wrong with the team's structural make up. We all know that there are some issues. There are also some possible answers to those issues. How many teams are actually constructed in a prototypical way? Not many and yet they still find ways to work around that. It's not impossible. Isiah or any coach's job is to find ways to make it work. The Bulls have no post game and right now they're not able to make it work, but in the past they actually did. GS has an unusual roster of guards and SF's and yet they made it work last year. Don't tell me that we can't make things work here with the right moves.

Yes, perhaps a new GM will make the right moves and a new coach will make the best use of the new players he brings in.

I did not say that you suggested that their is a structural problem. Please don't be angry with me. I think others on this board think that there is a structural problem. I was actually agreeing with you when I said the following:

"I do not believe that there is a structural problem"

I am with you on this. I believe that it has been just a wacky NBA season for many teams. I feel that Isiah made some miscalculations on the Marbury situation and I sense that this has affected our start. But you and I both know that it is early. Dallas started out 0-4 last year and they bounced back. I truly expect for us to do the same. All we need is to get out from under this black cloud, get some guys healthy, make better coaching decisions and after the dust settles I sense taht we can get back to the level we were right after "the fight". I fully expect this to happen. But I also feel that some fans will be quick and jump ship before this takes place. I feel that this may hurt the team in certain, ways but I fully expect them to respond to it.

I am alsow with you on the Isiah thing. I expect Isiah to work hard to win the team back to his side but if he can't, I feel that Dolan will sense that it is time to move on. I expect him to do what is best for our team and feel that he will move forward with another coach. When the new coach is brought in, I sense that this will galvanize the team and I fully expect that we will be fine once they get over the initial 10-15 game adjustment period. So in summary, I feel that Isiah is on notice. I think It's time for him to right the ship. I feel that if he can't than it is time to move on.

Come on Isiah!!! Get your act together!!!!

How anyone can still have faith in these players is beyond me. I'm sure most of you grew up at least watching the Jeff Van Gundy, Patrick Ewing, Latrell Sprewell era. How can you not be disgusted by this team is just crazy. Forget firing Isiah Thomas. That's going to happen eventually. The big problem and challenge will be trading these losers. I'm talking about Eddy Curry, Stephon Marbury and Jamal Crawford. These players cannot win. Red Holzman couldn't win with these players. They stink. I don't know what more prove you need. It's time to tear it down and start over.

Why do we even need a coach? Steph said we should run no set plays and he's right. If everyone would just get off Steph's back, including Isiah, we'd be fine.

Just get out of the way and let my man ball.

We'd also need to get those pesky teammates out of the way as well.

I'm a fan of the Knicks. I'm a fan of the tradition and history. I'm not a fan of this garbage Isiah Thomas has assembled.

These players have never gotten the ship back on track so can you have faith in them? It makes no sense. Look at the record with Eddy Curry, Stephon Marbury and Jamal Crawford on the team. It's never going to change. These are not winning players. What more prove do you need?

Yes, it's "once the dust settles". It's in the friggin manual. Dude I can't keep helping you like this. You have to start studying. It's on page 47 about half way down the page under the heading "CRAZY SH$T ThAT ISIAH WANTS US TO SAY". Item number 2, right after, "we are a play or two away from being x-y"(Note: Y=current amount of losses, X=current amount of wins)

I can't keep covering for you like this. We are going to get in trouble.

So some of you believe after years of losing with Isiah Thomas, Stephon Marbury, Eddy Curry and Jamal Crawford, they will magically start winning?

No. Nobody believe in this but Dolan.
