I'd LOVE to see Isiah grilled in court.

A prosecutor would take his spinjobbing and turn it around him.

Isiah would say "We're a play or two away from a winning record."

And a trial lawyer would shoot back "Is that a fact? Is there reasonable doubt that the Knicks could in fact be one or two plays away from being 0-9 Mr. Thomas? Isn't that a possibility, just as your assertion is, if not more?"

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

drafting skita was a mistake, but he was high on every gm's board..

Siging kenyon was a mistake in hindsight, but they were envisioning a healthy Kenyon, and although overpaid and he is a prick, keyon defends with fury, rebounds, blocks shots and he can get you 16ppg. In other words, he does the other things our bigs never do... A healthy kenyon is better than what we have on our front line right now... Hell I will take Kenyon, his bad knees and contract now, over jerome james and jared jeffries contracts combined... LOL.....

Yea, kenyon may be his worst move, but looking at his team, I could see his direction and what he was doing... can we say the same for this franchise?

Hey- I proposed trading both JJ's for Kenyon in the offseason!

Honestly though, even getting a healthy Kenyon at that cost was a questionable move at the time IMO. They had Nene and Camby up front and had no 2.

Tskita is still a blunder through and through. He missed two chances at Amare and he fell in love with overseas guys.

Then again if he doesn't f up that draft he probably misses his chance and Carmelo.

BTW- I agree that he had at least had the right direction in mind- that was the premise of my first couple of sentences. I really want to hire the slam dunk right guy here. Though I guess that's not really possible.

to all gm's defense, bryan colangelo saw amare in high school and basically had him locked up 2 months before the draft. amare didn't workout with any other team but pheonix. it was signed sealed and delivered very early in the process.

I can't see anyone can truly believe this team is on the up and up and there's nothing wrong behind the scenes.

As someone else said I'd love to hear Malik Rose's take on it - his real take on it. In fact, Malik might be that "Anonymous player" that keeps divulging the secret of the dirty laundry on the team plane and in the locker room.

Again, how on earth can a 2-7 team, a core of players who are entering their 3rd season together on the heels of two terrible seasons, which features a PG who fought with the coach and blackmailed him into letting him back on the team, NOT be in turmoil?

I thought the player that went unknown was Q. I would not put it pass Malik.
