I'm sure the Magic being 9-2 on the season and handing the Cletics their first loss of the season has everything to do with Dwight not being dominant.

Their talking to Hedo right now post game because he dropped 2 critical bombs on the Celtics in the 4rth because of Howard's presence in the paint.

58-41 orlando at the half.

Dwight Howard is THE MOST DOMINANT BIG MAN IN THE GAME those who refute this are in denial.

I refute that and I am not in denial. When he learns some low post scoring skills instead of scoring of dunks and alley ops then we can talk dominant.

LOL he's taken K.G. to task on several occasions this game. Perkins has no answer for him. Part of domination includes how often one makes trips to the stripe 10FTA/gm for Howard and he's scoring 22pts/gm on 14fga/gm and his FGA's are up from last yr by 3FGA/gm, which siginifies imrpoved offensive game. So yes your swimming in a heavy dose of debial.

Another part of domination is consitency, which he does not have YET. Don't get me wrong the kid and ball with the best of them but the "MOST DOMINANT" talk is for players that have won games in the playoffs. He is playing like this because his favorite player is Kevin Garnett. When Tony Parker first came into the league he said his favorite player was Marbury (LMAO I am sure it is not any more) and he destroys Marbury every time he plays him. Dwight is playing with overloaded dopamine.

Dude WTF take a look at his Game Log and find the inconsistnecy

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/gamelog?statsId=3818

He is a alley oop/ dunk artist. He is not a consistent back to the basket low post scorer. That's what you look for in your MOST DOMINANT players ala Chamberlain, Jabbar, and O'neal.

He is always going to give you blocks and rebounds but if was all about that then Camby would be in the Most Dominant talks.

Dwight is not there yet but when he reaches that point the Magic will be the beast of the East.

It's obvious you haven't seen him play at all this yr. Like I said look at his trips to the stripe that's all that needs to be said. If he has no offensive repertoire why are people fouling him?

Lol maybe because he is a horrible free throw shooter. 9-18 from the stripe tonite, 65 % for the season and 61 % for his career. Furthermore it seems Garnett had something to say about that Most Dominant talk as well being that Howard hasn't done much since half time.

Dumbest reasoning ever because if I recall the big man that held the crown as MDBM was Shaq and he got fouled a lot too while be a horrible free throw shooter.

And K.G. just fouled out which I'm sure hasn't happened in a long time for him.

Dwight is no Shaq. He was obviously not a factor in the second half of today's game even though they won. MDBM don't get taken out the equation like that. In the Magic games I do watch I see very little offensive skill from him. That is why they brought in Patrick Ewing as assistant coach. On the other end of the court he is a beast tho.

Let's give K.G. some credit here and not act like he some slouch defender Scott Pollard, Perkins, and K.G. had 11 fouls total the majority of them on Howard who has no offensive repertoire according to you. Even in the second half he still got to the line and created some of the most wide open looks for his teammates. Even throughout all of this he scored 24pts and could of had 30 if he would have done a better job hitting more of his 20attempts from the stripe.

Dwight did not foul KG out. KG fouled Dwight twice the whole game. He had offensive fouls and fouls on Rashard Lewis. I never said Dwight had no offensive game, I said he had little ofeensive game. When he masters his offensive game then he can be involved in those talks. It's too early to crown him. Maybe might thoughts will change as the season wears on.

Wow you were proven wrong and yet you continued to make an argument with your flawed line of thinking. What's the knock against Dwight Howard? The only explanation I've ever seen why someone on this board not giving Howard enough credit is that we have Eddy Curry. Howard has been awesome. When the Magic make the playoffs for a few years then you'll see your playoff performances. Just admit that Howard has been playing awesome and that you're undercutting him a bit and then we can ignore the difference in criteria for the word "dominant".

I have no knock on Dwight, I just think the word "Most Dominant" should not be attributed with him YET. Dominant is a strong word. It is liking telling a girl who gives great sex but has the personality of a piece of cardboard that you love her. I think Duncan and Yao are more dominant as of now. I'd trade the whole team and logo for him to be on this team because he is young and he has amazing upside.

It's interesting when you debate with certain fans on this board because you get a chance to see how they view players and the game itself. He totally just bypassed the facts and ignored the game today. Since I've said this, those who do refute the statement never come back with a player who is, it's just a personal non liking to his game as to why they refute the statement. So if Howard isn't the most dominant big and when I say this I mean both sides of the ball then who is? The guy is 22/15/2.5 and his team is 9-2. What else does he need to do?

Oh and Rashard Lewis says FALL BACK AND LAY DOWN LAMES!

orlando is the most dangerous team in the regular season......playoffs may be a different story

May end up being the case and I hope people see how much the addition of Lewis has impacted the team.

the addition of lewis was the missing link. nelson's game now has the field vision to dish with confidence while bogans play the role. even if they bait with lewis the distance to cover turkoglu to howard is unstoppable and vice versa.....the starting lineup is superb

this system must be explored when there are injuries
