the day we traded for zach, we should've moved david lee. i can understand why the knicks would be hesitant as he was pretty much a huge crowd favorite so it would not be looked at in a favorable light. but considering the huge hole at SF, the consistency at SG, and a long term answer at PG, a backup (which is what lee became after the zach trade) should not have become untouchable. we should've moved him for a starting 1/2/3. i fear lee's value will go down if the season continues in this manner.
why is it so tough for isiah to understand how to put together a team of complimentary talents?
Yup....we are on the same page.
So the question is what should be the move?
I came up with a trade to get josh smith earlier this week in another thread.
Josh, anthony johnson, zaza, speedy, and I think lorenzen for lee, marbs and randolph morris....
Atlanta is doing well without this trade though. The trade does balance them out better though. For the knicks they get josh who fits all the knicks needs at the 3 and gets curry a true back up in zaza. Speedy has to stick cuz of his contract while lorenzen and johnson get waived.
