I used to agree with that- but Dolan now has cover that he can sack him and its unrelated to the sex harassment case- its purely performance.

Reports from Peter Vecsey of the Post indicate that Isiah Thomas' days with the Knicks are numbered, possibly as soon as today. A source (the one who had last year leaked Larry Brown's imminent firing) told Vecsey that Dolan was on his way to the West Coast, presumably to fire Zeke.



The Knicks are going to get that #1 pick this year. No matter how hard Isiah coaches, he will not get this bunch of unassembles to get assembled.

I'm taking all bets he is out before the Christmas tree goes up.

If it happened I think Dolan would wait until the All Star break. I don't believe he has the stomach for a huge shake up right now. I think he's gonna give this as much time as he possibly can to correct itself. I could be wrong, but I just get the sense that he's reluctant to bust up the season so early. Then again maybe that would be the best shot to salvage things if it's done early enough. But does Dolan have the guts to do it tho? That's what I question.

Wouldn't that mean Dolan writes off I SAY UGH'S short 2 1/2yrs as you've informed us the past 2yrs he hasn't had that long of time to fix Layden's horrid mess? If he's fired how much time does the next GM get if what I SAY UGH has brought in is promising and has provided a fine foundation for future success? I would think the next GM doesn't get long judging by what you've told us he's accomplished over the yrs. Maybe Dolan gives him the I SAY UGH 9yr rebuilding to fix I SAY UGH'S record/history making mistakes. In all honesty hopefully the next qualified replacement cleans up this garbage in 2yrs.
