what is even worse is that this team played hard in pheonix, they were outclassed, but not out played or hustled.. last night vs a bad clippers team, they were out everything!! lee and fred jones minutes suffered.. and for what? really after this trip, dolan needs to clean house... enough with the shyt already!!

Even if true I say we should all come together as fans and reason on a valid excuse! We need to support I SAY UGH and Steph right now, not kick them while they're down. Geez come on people!

Mutiny on The Bounty

If the player vote was indeed unanimous to sit Marbury, then Zeke has just lost a huge amount of trust by playing him. tkf is dead-on in his take on the Phoenix game. They are a handfull with a full roster, let alone missing pieces, but the Knicks played them tough and to the end.

Somewhere Mark Aguirre better be getting his acceptance speech ready

Careful, you're gonna get papabear riled up with talk like that.

i bet isiah tried to use this vote as a motivating tool for steph. would it surprise you if that little convo on the bench for the cameras was isiah saying "look, your teammates don't want you to play so prove them wrong."

ultimately, this is all about isiah and steph and nothing else.

I'm starting to feel like all of us, Knick players and fans - are living under Marbury's oppressive regime. I wish I could be at the first home game so I could boo his ass for the whole game.

StalinBury!

Why no mention of Him losing his "mentor"? I think he could have just done an emotional meltdown and had his teammates sympathy.

Regarding team leadership vocal about this, it would appear Craw is that guy, and perhaps others but they are keeping that in the lockerroom where it should be. Not for us to disect.

I would also add that Isiah was TOLD to play him from a higher source. Dolan the vindictive ass is letting him swim in his own fecal matter and given the way he treated Larry he wants Isiah to walk away, but he'll be quiet if he wants any money.

one question: why is isiah polling the players? it's his team, not the players.

I don't care if he lost his mentor, he did some job turning him into a selfish me first player that is hated by his teammates, blames everything on everyone else and destroys every team he has played on.....

These two need to go asap, we should have ****ing hired stan van, brought in big pat, signed oak as the 12th man, bought out jerome james, and marbury should have never been allowed to play last night, just disgraceful. Not to mention brought in jerry west or calengelo last year...

The face of your team needs to know how to talk, if you can't put together a sentence how are you supposed to run an offense this regime has pretty much taken any joy out of the game...

Dolan is sticking Isiahs nose in his own creation. He made Larry twist.

Between the larry thing, the trial, im sure Dolan is one heaping pile of hate!

There's no way Aguirre survives too is there? I'd think only Herb has a chance at staying.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Aguirre is a Zeke croney. He's gone, as well as the morbidly obese guy who requires several chairs.

Whoever would be appointed interim coach would probably have the choice of who to add or retain. But I don't think Herb has the cachet to make big changes. Dolan would probably want the staff to finish the year since they're already paid for, and the next GM would be choosing a new head coach requiring a full staff change.

considering what Marbury just had to say about having all this dirt on Isiah, it's probably in MSG's best interest to simply drop the appeal & avoid any further negative press & embarassment by jettisoning both of those guys.

I'm not sure it makes a difference.

First off, if either of them change their testimony substantially it could be grounds for perjury.

Second, often appeals are handled solely by lawyers. They're not retrying the case, they're analyzing he record of the preceding trial looking for procedural errors.

Or that' my shallow understanding anyway.

man, i have been quiet for a couple of days because of disbelief, anger and frustration rolled into one. i thought this team would finnaly get on the right track but no, the personell are imbuciles. if thomas pulled that crap of asking the players if they wanted marbury to play and they voted no, then the season is done. this team is spiralling out of control and thomas has him to blame for it. the team will give up on him like they did with larry brown and they will lose this road trip. then hopefully dolan will come to his senses and fire him and his cronies. keep herb and see what he does with a more talented team than he had two years ago. tell marbury to stay home and don't come back. shut up because you are getting paid to stay home until we trade you which could be next year. no buyouts. deal with it. if that is against the union rules, keep him at the end of the bench or on ir. hire vandeweghe as the new gm to clean up this mess. this is mind boggling. haven't we suffer enough as new york fans?!

Because now there are clear cut job performance reasons to fire him. Otherwise if might have looked like he was just fired because of the outcome of the sexual harassment trial.

I think Dolan will use the verdict to keep from paying Isiah his extension though.
