So, if Marbury's in LA, but not playing, I'm guessing he sits on the sidelines, wearing a suit.

Suitbury.

Greg Anthony deserves a GM job too...

fixed.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I'd hire him.. although I think for situation either Jerry West or Jerry Colangelo would be the right choice. Anthony to me is a good candidate to get a GM job in the near future though.

I agree with bip (even though I know Bip is playing). Cassell might be the only point guard Marbury can actually stay in front off and Marbury is strong enough that Cassell can't post him up easily. SO this probably is the perfect matchup for Marbury.

Honestly I don't know what to expect anymore. Everyday something new happens. I've given up trying to make real predictions with this team.

Lets see he couldn't stay in front of Williams and you expect him to stay in front of Cassell. Cassell has a so much higher BBall IQ that he will find ways to get his midrange jumper to drop all night.

Well Bip, I can appreciate you hung your azz out there, but now be a man and admit you were wrong on every count.

Will play the game of his life tonight. He won't score points but he will shut biotches down on the defensive end and dish the rok like nobodies business. Just you watch. My asse is out there.

Didn't shut down grandpa Cassell, who "dished the rok" for one more assist and just as many points in fewer minutes.

Bip is a victim of over estimating these knicks as much as any of us. We all take it up the butt when we expect something good.

bipppity - that is the most scholarly move you've made all week

My sense is the Hawks are desperate for a point guard and have plenty of forwards. There is the Georgia Tech connection, the escape from a persistent media and Atlanta doesn't suck that bad as a place to live. Just ask Bernard King.

Isiah's cell phone bill will be through the roof for December.

Does James Dolan view Marbury's Tuesday desertion as the final straw?

MisterEarl I haven't made a serious prediction in almost 3 years now. Nothing has changed in my belief that you don't know what to expect with this team. You just missed the joke. When I make a comment like, Marbs will play the game of his life, or he will not play at all, what I'm saying to you is:

Holy shiot, when are we going to find some leaders that can perform consistently on the court so that we can make semi-accurate predictions instead of wondering if we will win or implode?

Oh and for the future: MisterEarl please inform me when I do something scholarly. Your reassurance really raises my self-esteem.

I am not wrong. See what you guys can't see is that eventually Marbs will have a great game. And on that day, I will come on and say "I told you so".

Now I'm going to hang my asse out there: this friday Marbs will have the game of his life.

I haven't expected anything good from this team since 1999. What are you talking about? The highest I've gone this year is that I expect this team to be mediocre. I am still holding out hope that this can happen and will not allow you "haters" to drag me down from this optimistic view that I hold.
