I don't believe there was a fist fight. I don't see what rationale there is for Isiah to be fired just cuz one player acts out. He's in charge of the entire team and the rest of the players seem to be emotionally dedicated to making something of the season. Just look at how upset Balkman was at his mistakes. IF he didn't care I don't see him responding in that way. They didn't end up getting blown out. It was a decisive loss, but they kept playing hard.

We need to stop looking for reasons to get Isiah out of here. I think he's making the right moves and in the end the results will be better for this team.

well so far Isiah has done nothing but prove that he can't manage an organzation well, or assemble a good team. But your right that Isiah is making the right moves in holding players accountable for their defense, effort, and skills. He never really allowed any other knick coach to do that but I guess now that its his butt on the line he has no choice.

Also, now that Isiah is coaching this team he can see first hand just how flawed it is and may even start to make roster moves that actually help. but its also possible that he'll make panic moves to save his skin at the expense of the knick's future. either way no one can blame me when i say that I dont trust him to make the right decision here.

he had that shiner vs DEN too i think... i doubt he got that as a result of some scuffle inside the Knicks charter plane.

i'm pretty sure i saw that shiner on his face in that DEN game... i'm almost positive in fact... i highly doubt it was from a fight on the plane.

I'm imagining a western-style brawl with everyone on the plane fighting, breaking chairs over each others' heads, etc.

Seems dangerous.

and why would lee try to break up a fight between isiah and marbury- unless he got the way accidentally.

He didn't. He "walked into a door".

Wtf are you talking about?

Believe?

Belief based on what?

You're being a homer who is short-sighted and cheers for, what 23 and counting of your fellow fans on this site vote as, the worst sports franchise in the world?

You gonna go against the entire site?
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

That fight could get pretty nasty. Isiah and Laimber had a fist fight when they were teammates and it was pretty nasty. One of Steph's biggests strengths is that he is so strong as a point guard. Malik needs to get his house in order or collect a paycheck somewhere else.

I don't either. But it wouldn't surprise me if a table were knocked over or something thrown, etc, that people in another room could consider a tussle.
