why is crawford starting? why isnt his role being diminished? He has hurt us as much as marbury. Im not a Marbury supporter but its clear that he's being used as the scapegoat for Isiah Thomas. Isiah saying that Eddy might not start is a bluff, hes saying that to make it look as though Marbury isnt the only one.

Bishop I see that but at least Jamal is capable of getting you 30 on nights and Steph isnt. I think you will see Jamal try and hopefully will get better.

Mike and the Dog haven't watched a Knicks game in like 5 years.

To me, their commenting on the NBA is a joke. How can you be a sports talk radio commentator and not watch one of the 3 biggest sports in the country in a city that has such a strong basketball tradition?

They know nothing about basketball these days. No reason to take much they say seriously here at all.

You are right King1 but this line-up change should be about accountability. Isiah is saying that Eddy might not start either. If its somehow true then there goes our leading scorer to the bench. What are Curry's downfalls? Turnovers and lack of defence and rebounding. Crawford has been killing us by taking poor shots, going one-on-one repeatedly, playing next to no defence, and turning the ball over. So why is he not suffering the consequences either? If you're going to make a point about the team playing no defence than make everyone who doesnt play defence suffer not just one guy or two guys.

Isiah is just trying to save himself and have an excuse when we come back 2-7 or 3-6. Isiah built this team and now since his "vision" is failed just like the 6'11 6'11 6'11 frontcourt failed he refuses to man up and take responsibility for the team he built.

STEPHON MARBURY BOLTS FROM KNICKS
By MARC BERMAN

November 13, 2007 -- Knicks point guard Stephon Marbury bolted Phoenix in a huff this morning, leaving for home amid a feud with Isiah Thomas over his role on the team.

Marbury missed the morning shootaround and is not expected to play tonight when the Knicks begin a four-game western trip against the Suns.

Thomas claimed he wasn't sure if Marbury skipped town, but a source confirmed that he did.

"This is an in-house matter," Thomas said. "He's not here at shootaround. We hope he's at the game. If not, make no mistake about it, we do want him as a member of this basketball team. He is welcome back, and we want him as a member of this team."

Marbury's abrupt departure could lead to the end of his Knicks career. He told The Post over the summer he planned to play in Italy in two years when his contract expires.

Thomas would not say if Marbury would be suspended or fined for this incident.

Thomas and Marbury spoke Monday about his role on the team and it appeared Thomas was set to reduce Marbury's minutes, and possibly bring him off the bench, because of his defensive shortcomings.

"We need leadership in the organization and he's capable of doing that, and we want him back," Thomas said.

Marbury, who is off to a poor start on both ends of the court, is coming off a wild summer. He appeared to defend Michael Vick and dogfighting, and was a key witness in the Anucha Browne Sanders sexual harassment trial, when he admitted to having had sex in a truck with a Knicks intern.

Thomas said this morning he and Marbury also went through a spat last November after which they "kissed and made up."

Marbury has told confidants he feels he's best playing 40 minutes a night and would struggle in a non-starting role. The 30-year-old Brooklyn native has averaged 19.8 points per game in a 14-year career, the past five seasons with the Knicks.

He's averaging 15.2 points, which would be a career low, for the Knicks this season in their 2-3 start.

The ship be sinking! Team Titanic navigating back towards a 23 win season!

We need a hostile military coup d'etat by David Stern. Someone needs to get rid Dolan, Isiah, and the players on this team. Maybe we can just stop being a franchise for a year and then come back as an expansion team next year!? lol. I

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

So if he does not come to the game...he is off the Knicks? WOW. This is not helping the wager I made with my roommate that the Knicks will make the playoffs... Oh well Derrick Rose, Eric Gordan, OJ Mayo, and Chase Buddinger
