when you don't have a big time franchise player/leader at the PF/C spot, your team has to rely on it's guards. this backcourt needs a major upheaval. nobody's becoming better players because of them. but the first step is to remove marbury - that alone is addition by subtraction. the dude held this franchise hostage for 3 years already.

yea, when your point guards and guards ignore plays, what does that do to the team? Q I am sure is just not speaking for himself, but I assume rummblings are going on in that locker room. I said before that craw needs to come off the bench, we need a complete backcourt enema...

I personally don't like Q because of the way he played in post season with the suns. Why mr tuff talk came up soooooooooooo small in the playoffs???? Mostly after Joe Johnson broke his face in the Dallas series??? Why he dropped 0 points and had 2 rebounds when the suns got knocked out but the spurs. Yeah, Q rich knows how to ride coat tails and they ain't big enough to carry his butt here!!!!!

The biggest problem right out of the gate is Layden. He didn't do a good job as GM, and inflicted Eisley, Anderson, and Weatherspoon on the team. That set us back five years.

Then you had Don Cheney. He wasn't the greatest coach. That set us back three years.

Keith Van Horn was on the team. Two years.

Lenny Wilkins was senile. Three years.

Larry brown was treacherous and wanted Steve Francis and Jalen Rose. Seven years.

Layden Effect   5
Chaney Effect   3
Van Horn Effect 2
Lenny Wilkins   3
Larry Brown     7
Total          20

This calculation shows that it will take a minimum of twenty years from the time Layden took control until the Knicks can be a decent team again.

And that doesn't even take into account injuries. Injuries will add another six or seven years on top of that.

And don't forget booing. Each time the fans boo during a game, add another six months.

Based upon these calculations, I project that the Knicks will be good again in 2036.

Someone who's been shooting 39% from the field this season.

But can you question his desire and how hard he has played? Q is not saying he is flawless,but the guy does play the game the right way.....

I can certainly question the low percentage he's shooting. After all, how else can I judge how hard he plays and how badly he wants to win ?

I think he's talking about the last play when marbury jacked up the 3 you know that wasent the play isiah drew up and if you listen to isiahs post game when they asked him about that play he was very annoyed and called it a "heave" and said the play was designed for marbury to drive and kick

Blue: When was that quote? Was that this year? Didn't he say something similar during LB's tenure?

It was when they acquired Francis.
