I dont know about this flurry of 'Isiah is a dumbass threads' after one disappointing loss, but the Knicks, given their recent years of futility, dont have have a reservoir of goodwill to draw off. Knick fans have expected the worse and it usually has been delivered. That said, I just cant in good conscious jump off the ledge just yet.

The Knicks could easily be 4-1 but with the payroll there is no room for moral victories. If the Knicks want to be taken serious, they have to smash struggling teams like Miami at home. No excuses. C'mon Zeke.

I thought you liked Eddy and liked the direction of the team.

I've never seen someone's opinion hinge so strongly on the result of the preceding game. Duke changes his opinions on a dime. Shyt is funny.

I respect the Mavs recent success and run to the finals two years ago. that does say somthing, and Josh Howard was a great pick, but they also let Nash go. I think that one hangs on Cube though.

If we gonna starphuch us a GM, then lets get the real deal, get some bad ass dude who can stand up to the media and tell Dolan the way it is!

You can keep Don Nelson. You won't win championships with him as your coach or GM. I can see how you guys would get enamoured with his playing style. But it won't win you a championship.

As compared to Isiah who will win many many championships?

I think if Isiah is on the way out there are better candidated to replace Isiah than Don Nelson

Ok. Such as?

If Isiah goes it'll still be Dolan conducting the interviews. Now how hard is it to sell a half-baked plan for rebuilding/retooling whatever you call it to him?

Mavs are contenders? No?

Does Jerry Colangelo have any more kids???

So he gets the credit for the MAV success as he posed as an assistant coach until 2004...Where do I sign?

Josh Howard was drafted in 2003...

Even if he was the guy that found Josh for argument sake, that qualifies him???..Nice...

Last guy we employed because of his father's success last name is Layden...How did that work out...

He is proven he is young---he\'s been a good evaluator of talent and has a huge insight to international basketball. He has the cahones to trade an Antwan Jamison for the 4th pick[devin harris] in the draft and he tried to get Yi Jianlin this year. He also has experience with a huge payroll. The Mavericks have been good since he had the ability to spend more money. He is not going to cause problems like IT did with anucha.

Actually Harris was the 5th pick

Everyone remembers Nelson's recent moves but do you remember the move that back fired on him when he pulled that draft day stunt. I do he trade Mitch Richmond for Billy Owens who never really materialized in the NBA.

You're talking about the father, briggs is talking about the son.

I don't want him either.

Why not?

He single handedly put a champoinship contending team(every year) from nothing.

Funny, Laydogs first year as assitant to Sloan the Jazz made a nice run last year?

Mavs did a retool after nash left and they did go to the finals. With Harris and Terry!

And no, Im not suggesting we hire him btw, I think only a Jerry West sharphuch could work only because maybe Dolan would listen to him.

Dolan picked Layden so he could roll all over him and dictate. Thats my thought as I could not imagine any reason for hiring Laydog.
