A Bad game a Larry Brown thread, how boring

Better than a single good game in 20 and threads telling us how everything is going according to plan.

So now cuz we're 2-3 all of a sudden we all KNOW that this isn't going to work? COME ON!!!! I mean i've never seen such widespread panic and overreaction in my life. NEVER has the Knick forum been this fickle and easily scared. You guys are acting like you've never watched any BB before in your lives. You should know better than to be so reactionary to a 2 game losing streak or winning streak. It just doesn't make sense.

LB can't get hired right now and I wouldn't use him as any kind of judge about this teams prospects. What he said we already knew about the players. They can't defend! Gee he's a freaking genius for picking that up.

Like I said in the game thread:

1) It isn't our record people get upset about. Nobody is getting ready to despair over a 2-3 record in and of itself. It is the way we lose the games.

Why is that so hard for the lovers to understand^

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

We'd be this bad with LB and/or Isiah. We need to completely break up this team. New guards, rebuilt the frontcourt, a more talented SF, unless Chandler can show he's that guy. This team has way too many 1 dimensional players.

Actually we've had about 4 bad games of 5.

We looked bad against the medicore depthless Cavs
We struggled against the mighty Wolves
We let an Orlando team work us the whole game
We let a Miami Heat team in dire straits beat us
We lost 2 home games out of 4

We easily could be 0-5

That's the point. LB would have started dismantling this team 2 years ago, instead of continuing this farce like Isiah is.

Now we're 2 years behind and counting.

See, I agreed with LB that this team needed to be dismantled. However, who's the say he woulda brought in the right players. As much as I like LB the coach, I don't trust him as a GM, and we need a proven GM to help this team out. We're gonna have to let Marbury burn, same with Jerome and Malik. We need to start finding trading partners for Eddie and Crawford. We're stuck with Q. We're gonna have to start giving Ro and Collins big minutes.

Keeping Jerome James and Fred Jones and Jared Jefferies and cutting Nichols was INEXCUSEABLE, and I don't give a shizat what Oohah thinks of that. All three of those guys should be gone, if their just gonna be sitting there pretty. What are we gonna do with this coming years draft pick? Cut him too?

Apparently you do care what I think since you are bringing me up.

Why are you hanging on to Nichols? He is irrelevant to anything the Knicks are doing.

Nichols hasn't even played one minute in the NBA as of this writing, and there has been plenty of opportunity for him with the Cavs. Apparently, he is suffering from "back spasms": http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/4330

Learn the lesson of Jackie Butler. And stop worrying about Nichols.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Dude, Fred Jones, Jerome and Jared haven't played a minute either, unless it was some absolute minimal contribution, but I don't think they have. You cannot sugarcoat that in anyway, and I don't care if Nichols currently has a bad back. I'd rather live with that and see if he can recover. And yes, I'd much rather we have Butler over Jerome James too. This is a horribly run organization, and makes bad move after bad move constantly, and everything they do is shortsighted.

Sugarcoat? I'm not sugar-coating it, I am saying Nichols is immaterial. Not worth discussing. By the way, the point is that he most likely doesn't have a bad back. Players that are barely NBA material usually seem to have injuries that keep them on the inactive list...

Fred Jones has played this season, and Jared Jeffries has an actual injury, unlike Nichols.

But it doesn't matter, because Nichols is not worth discussing. Let's discuss him after he has played 1 minute in his NBA career.
