Nice try Earl...
But it is not Boston fault that Knicks fans became Boston fans.
You need to have something REAL to root for.

arkrud - so what about Red Sox fans who remained loyal to their beloved franchise for nearly a century?

Did you see them rooting for the Yankees from their closets?

gimme a break

Your attempt to make a case for punkazz, booger-picking, whiners with testicles the size of a pygmy mosquito don't fly with me son. The same things the same so-called fans criticize Knicks players for lacking:

toughness / resilience / consistent personality ...

... seems in shorter supply (just because they are out of the gate faster) with some undeserving, so-called Knicks fans who feel entitled to the green Celtic grass on the other side of the fence that they covet. Where was those Closet Celtics supporters last season?

At least be honest and claim a loyalty you can stick with. I got no time for traitors.

none at all

KG is the best player in the league and their big 3 is the best big 3. KG was just on an unimaginably bad team for many years.

Duncan is the best player.

They are really pushing the medal down hard way to early. No way these guys can survive 82 games playing huge minutes. Huge tactical mistake. They were up 20 and Ray never came out. Their lack of depth will catch up with them.

I think Doc is trying to learn what they can do at full strength for now. I think as the season goes on, guys like Tony Allen and Big Baby will start to get more minutes and he will bring the Big 3 minutes down to more around 35-36 mins a game. In fact, Big Baby Glen Davis played more last game and had a pretty good game. He is going to be a solid player if he can keep his weight under control.

Mista, noting wrong with admiring a teams talent and how it plays out.

I don't think we talking "celts fans" vs just being a hoops fan and seeing a good thing.

If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

It is funny, I watch a lot of other teams play, and it is no suprise Garnett is very good, but don't let it suprise many that in the playoffs, he has gotten outplayed by the likes of dirk on several occasions... So it is foolish to crown them at this point....

I watched the Celts all last season and Doc really isn't a good coach at all.

For those that couldn't see it last season since no one was watching the Celtics, it really must be showing now because he is playing his guys a ton of minutes and the Celts are BLOWING TEAMS OUT.

Wait till the games get even closer.

funny how KG is so highly regarded around these parts these days... i remember plenty of posters here saying they wouldn't give up guys like David Lee for him in a trade last year when trade proposals were being discussed... this guy is & has been 1 of the best players in the game for a long, long time.

I remember people saying they would not give up Frye?!?!?!?!?!? David Lee?!?!?!?
Craziness, I tell you. I never suffered from that disorder.

I hate the Celtics but it is amazing to see 3 guys who have been double-teamed their whole careers play open, and pass the ball to each other- it really does come from Kevin -
The "big three's" I see hyped all the time on other teams don't have a dominant big who can pass and is also a defensive leader.

KG is an outstanding low post player. That's an underrated aspect of his game. I didn't realize how good his low post game was until this year. Eddy and Zach should take notes on everything he does in the low post.

Traitors are the fans who replaced the love to Knicks with love to snake Isiah and suckbury and are supporters for the misery this once proud franchise dragged in.
I heard the same crap from KGB guys in Soviet Union directed to people who was critical to moronic communist regime. Were they traitor Earl?
