I think it is important for you to really know what is happening in the Garden for at least two reasons. First, the atmosphere was electric. I had not experienced the Garden in a long time and I forgot how huge it is. The arena filled up in New York Time which meant by half-time, but the fans are clearly behind this team and are expecting great things. This tells me that many, many New Yorkers know what we knew most of last year – Isiah is building a juggernaut. He may not be finished yet, but people are expecting some exciting basketball. Yes, there were some boos. I think I started those boos when we went down by fifteen points and the Nuggets were waltzing through the lane. Frank Isola and cronies will not admit it, but they have little or no influence on the real fans, nor do they accurately report the pulse of the relationship between the fans and the team.

Holfresh, we are allowed to criticize this team. Until we win a championship, there will always be imperfections, and despite us having some nice things going on, and despite us being 2-1 (Ohh wowowowow!!!!) we still have a LOT of flaws that are gonna keep us from winning a championship, so therefore, my voice on what's wrong with this team will be heard, until we do win that championship. I'm sorry if that bothers you, and yes, I love the Knicks. Again, sorry if that bothers you. Life is tough.

These threads are out of control.....

Everyone here is a knick fan, everyone wants the team to do well and win.

Most fans that have a concept of what it takes to build a winner are not sold on this bunch because they don't have enough heart to win, nor do they play hard with the exception of a few every game. They let down after big wins, have an attitude, treat the fans like ****, embarrass the team and the organization and haven't accomplished anything in this league other than cashing in on a contract they didn't deserve in the first place.

And worst of all they complain, about the fans, teams running up the score, the officials, the injuries, the league, it's always there fault, isiah has one plan then another, then changes plans, and then wants time all while making some of the worst moves in league the past decade.

We beat the worst team in the league and had a nice win against Denver the earth isn't moving nor should it, if we lose tonight we are right back to square one sorry to say. So if fans are weary of Zach and they should be it's their right to say he is not a max player and they don't love the direction here.

Bip, I think you're raising your standards a little too much. You need to get some friends in the first place before you can talk about getting grown ass friends.

Come on now MS, we all know that there are 2 guys here that are definitely not Knick fans...

As for the rest of us, I think the point holfresh is making is that there is a way to express one's self besides constant griping about everything.

For Example:

A. Isiah is an idiot! How could he draft that bum Balkman?!
B. Isiah is an idiot! He shouldn't play that bum Balkman!!
C. Isiah is an idiot! How come he isn't starting Balkman?!

And I am not describing 3 different posters, but the evolution of one poster who just gripes.

It reminds me of the days when I used to listen to WFAN. The Knicks were legit championship contenders and all I would hear is complaining.

It's not that one shouldn't complain, it's just that the balance seems to be thrown way off. So much complaining, that even though the Knicks have looked good to start the season for once, the complaining is drowning out the happy.
