Crawford's been our best player so far.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

It is only 2 games - I would rather take the wait and see approach before assuming Craw has turned the page on his inconsistency and lack of driving to the basket. It would be a welcome change though.

Crawford is going to kill us this yr, we played a young timberwolves team who didn't know how to defend jamal.

Crawfords style of play eliminates team oriented play, we should have blown out the timberwolves at home.

When we go up against real good veteran teams playing one on one is gonna put us right where we were last yr with scoring droughts because of 4 guys watching 1.

i dont agree with you on that. it is steph's ball movement that has taken a back seat from the 2 games we saw this year. craw drives to the post and makes the runner most of the time. when the defense collapses..........easy 2 for curry. easy 2 for zbo. isnt that what we should be doing? craw's passing skills have become much better. now only if his defense was much improved, steph would be eliminated from the starting lineup for good.

We played a timberwolve team that didn't know how to corral jamal.

I would love to see jamal shake and bake against denver and create easy hoops for his teamamtes.

Nate feeds the post pretty good so far they just aren't finishing.

When will this team learn to be good you must distribute the basketball and involve everyone on the floor. This is getting old!

It's not like Jamal has not scored on star player before. Wade, Kobe, and even Billups to name a few.

^^^ I have no clue what he is talking about. It's like asking why VC isn't getting everybody involved......... it's because he is the SHOOTING GUARD. The Knicks ask there shooting guard to play the point because the POINT GUARD is baddddddd.

Even though JC this first two games JC has been moving the ball, we just play with sudo-stars that don't take the game over in the fourth and that he has been baling out these first two games.

I'm wondering if we should experiment putting Jamal at the 1 and Steph at the 2 and play more off the ball. He seems to play the most under control when he's actually running the offense, IMO.

that's what i've been advocating ever since i saw how Jamal played under LB... i like very much what i've seen out of Jamal so far this season, & he's always been 1 of my favorite Knicks on this current roster & 1 of the trade acquisitions by Isiah that i've supported since day one.

I have been saying this for the longest if you start Jamal from the beginning you will see a difference. He is playing confident and taking it strong to the hole. He also is playing more of the pg role.

I wonder if you guys still think that Q should start over Jamal at the 2 guard position?

u & me both bro... if it were up to me, Marbury would be coming off the bench & Jamal & Q Rich would be starting in our backcourt.

The added muscle he developed this summer is probably making him more comfortable in going to the hoop more often.

Crawford has been playing aggressive rather than passive which is a great thing. He isn't a great spot up shooter. He is better with the ball in his hands. Marbury is better catch and shoot shooter than Crawford is. Though Marbury isn't great at it. The only thing I could ask more of him within his skill set is to make the extra pass more often. Crawford has allways been our best playmaker. If he could take 3-4less attempts and convert that into 3-4 more easy shots for his teammates it would make a world of difference.

Crawford & Nate have very good playmaking ability. If Isiah could just get them to look to create for others some more rather than themselves they would be a very fun offense guard tandem. All Marbury would need to do is not turn the ball over and hit his spot up shots.

Randolph cannot get 20 shots a game with 10 of them being 18ft jumpers. He should get his shots off of the plays that Crawford & Nate create for him and offensive put backs. Only get the ball in the post when he has a clear mismatch. Until of course he starts to pass out of the post some more.

^ Funn that's exactly what I was thinkin the other day on the toilet too:

PG - Jamal
SG - Q
SF - Jefferies/Balkman
PF - Z-Bo or other
C - Curry or other

Personally, I'd sooner keep Curry and dump Z-Bo for a true franchise PF.
