Great thread idea, Ooha. Doubt you intended for this thread to go into the crapper about 4 posts in.

Anyway, one good thing is our bench. I love the energy of Nate, Balk, and Lee off the bench. They can really change the pace of the game. Would like to see Balk move into the starting lineup and get the kid Chandler some minutes as we slowly (hopefully) ohase Q out of the starting lineup and eventually out the rotation all together.

The one thing that i really like about this team is how at times they show flashes of dominance. Unfortunately overall it didn't add up to anything yet but i really enjoy watching Eddy being unstoppable and showing heart on d, i like how our bench can come in and turn the game around, how Jamal is showing signs of being unstoppable and mixing it with his scoring and passing, N8 making those 3's and showing an improving basketball iq, Z-bo being totally solid not to mention DLee , Balkman and now this new kid Chandler. I don't want Kobe or anything like that i just want for our guys to continue improving and perhaps changing the way that the Knicks are being perceived by everyone, making the playoffs and such. Its really a pleasure seeng signs of improvement at least for me

Balkman/Lee in tandem can change the complexion/pace of the game.

People keep jumping on them for not having a jumper, but when they get the ball on the perimeter they slash to the basket or set up a teammate- either way they are breaking down the D. You got a put a body on them or you will pay. Let them slowly work on their J, but by all means keep em out there cause they do so much to make this team better.

After 3 yrs of playing with each other it looks like we finally know each others tendancies. The chemistry, atleast on the offensive end is pretty strong. The defense is better than last years but still could be approved on. We are turning the ball over less. Zach, Nate, and Crawford look REALLY good. Marbury's game right now is complimenting the team. David Lee needs more minutes. New York might have a TEAM.

Balkman isn't afraid to step to Lebron

[Edited by - mythfaze on 11-04-2007 4:56 PM]

Anyone can do that. The question is, do you wanna look foolish doing it.
Balkman is tough! If you check the replay, the 2nd time it is shown on this clip, you can see at the beginning that LeBron is shoving his elbow into Balkman's chin and pushing off from him at the beginning of the drive. So Balkman is just giving it back to LeBron. I like that. Balkman isnt taking any crap from an All-Star vet and standing up to him.

Another positive note: The team is playing hard and determined. And being at .500 after 2 games isn't bad at all.

Isiah has a great taylor!

We are deep in talent. We are talented. Lots and lots of talented. We will win on talent. Our talent is youthier, it is deep, we got more talent on the bench than most teams. Talent'ier. Talentest. Tuh talent.
Tee tie toe tum we got talant! More talent than we did 3.5 yeras ago. More talant every year. Soon as the season ends, the new one starts with more talent! We got so much talent draft picks can't even crack this squad! WE got talent in the truck! WE got coaching talent. An army of coaching talent. We got so much talent we bring in HOF pay him 30mil for a year and fire him! Thats a talent surplus. Just oozing with talent. We got pinkys with more talant than whole squads! Our HOF coach, talent. Our president, Talent. The owner plays mean guitar! How many owners got that kind of talant?? SOme can dance, some can make fortunes in the business world with being an ass, but we talking talent hayer!

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Not at all. Because the Knicks are good enough, they're smart enough, and, doggone it.....

the isiah marbury marriage is about to go bad soon. marbury's gonna be out of the starting line-up before the end of the season (and not due to injuries)
Nixluva is posting triangle screen grabs, even when nobody asks - Fishmike. LOL So are we going to reference that thread like the bible now? "The thread of Wroten Page 14 post 9" - EnySpree

Hmm, one good thing?

Well........in what context though? Like.....purely basketball, orrr.....?
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

The best thing for me this season is that we still own our draft pick.
If Isiah trades this as a throw in in some crappy trade, it might just drive me over the edge.

Ahh yes!

Very nice. I agree. I hope we plummet to the depths of the Atlantic ocean. Then we get a top 3 pick!

The best part about the Knicks this season--for me--is that they're out of market and completely irrelevant nationally, so I won't be tempted to watch terrible, terrible basketball, while wasting countless hours that could be used productively. Things like studying, errands, masturbation and staring at the wall are vastly more productive than watching this team.

BTW, what's a left-handed compliment?

SupremeCommander,

Allow me to commend you personally. True, brutal honesty is sometimes good.

Thank you.

I too enjoy masturbation very much and find it infinitely more pleasurable than watching the Knicks.

Just remember folks, brutal honesty.
