41 wins. There was no choice for 9th seed but thats where we probably end up.

I stuck to my prediction from pre-season which was 41 wins. I could see it being a few above or below, but I think .500 sounds about right for middle ground.

In terms of seeding, I put 8th, which is the bottom line for Isiah to stay, I think.
Forum Po Po and #33 for a reason...

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

In the original prediction thread by jimmiou, I said 38-40 wins. So I'll just root for the upper limit.

I believe that this was my idea, but if you want to give Martin and Andrew the credit go right on ahead. See this isn't about credit, this is about adding a wonderful feature to an already feature rich site regardless of whether it was my idea or not. Great job Martin/Andrew on implementing another Bippity masterpiece. Not that it's important who's masterpiece it is.

I have been thinking for quite some time that this team possesses the ability to go 41-41 and nab the 8th seed. Since the trades that loaded Boston up I have not been so sure about that - sometimes thinking more of 38 wins and 9th seed - but, I will stick with 41-41 and the 8th seed.

Part of that is predicated on the idea that it has been long enough and after 3.75 years of Isiah (It will be 4.75 years as of the conclusion of this season) that given all the high profile trades for somewhat big name players - anything less than a .500 season and a token 1st round appearance would most certainly be viewed as complete failure even by the most blind faith of fans.

I'm sticking with 39. Statistics revert to means. And I have no problem being wrong.
I'd rather be wrong to the upside, than the downside (as I have been each of the last 3 years).
