What I ment was that I would not get into any racial things or calling someone names besides haters.

And since you've already declared that "anyone who doesn't support Zeke and Marbs are racists," we know when you call someone a hater you mean they're racist.

Well the only reason why IMO people still support Isiah is the color of his skin. Papabear must be a person of color, therefore he feels it is his duty to support Zeke no matter what.

He's probably the worst offender on this board.

Alan Hahn has a good article on this but the link to Isiah's testimony is not working anymore. This is what is on YouTube.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ocb4MFkDiAY

The video is damaging on his character no matter how anyone spins it. The questioner clearly stated

"Your early testimony brought out the fact you find it offensive for a white man to call a black woman a *****!"

But proceeds to ask again exactly where he stands when it comes to a black man saying it. I SAY UGH makes the distinction here. Questioner then says again but in your early testimony you found it offensive for a male to call a woman a ***** black or white. ISAY UGH answers yes and here's the key he follows it up with a BUT So anything I SAY UGH says at this point is post early testimony feeling, which reflected his most current thought process at the time. I SAY UG said "Not As Much" if a black male does it. The dude is a SCUMBAG... he says at that point it's more offensive to him if a white man calls a black woman a *****!

No Splicing to it.

Who cares that they didn't play the previous however many hours of the tape. What we saw was the tail end of his disposition, which would have reflected his most current feelings.

I guess we're supposed to apologize because Isiah says he's innocent. :roll eyes:

And why don't you post the article, like below? It's AP, so don't worry about mis-quotes.

This whole business is sleazy by Isiah anyway you slice it.

Isiah' defense of himself is that he didn't just say it's less offensive if a black man calls a black women a bitch, its that he also said that he'd find it offensive if anyone said it to a woman. Then why qualify it along racial lines at all? Answer: to appeal to the heartstrings of blacks by evoking the common enemy - whites - even though no white was accused of the crime.

And being more offended when a white calls a black woman a bitch, I believe, is a function of his own racial bias. Let's turn the tables to show what I mean. If a white man says he's more offended if/when a black man calls his wife a bitch or whore than if/when a white man does it, what does that say about his feelings towards blacks? I'd assume that white person would also be more offended if it were a black person who kicked his dog or stole his parking space. IOW, said person is probably more easily offended by the other race in most situations.

This wasn't a racial issue, it was an issue of gender harassment, and the person accused was Isiah, not some imaginary white person. If the stakes were higher and Isiah were accused of raping Anucha, and a questioner asked him if he found rape offensive and he said "yes, but it's more offensive if a white man does it to a black" is that any kind of defense of his own actions? Amazingly, I think there are some here who would actually be emotionally swayed by that, even though it has zero relevance to his own guilt or innocence.

And this is how Isiah is appealing to Sharpton and Stringer; by telling them he said he'd be offended if anyone did it, but more offended if a white did it, even though no white was accused of it. It's saying, "hey, don't get caught up in sin the specifics of this case when in the deposition I was going after whitey, our common enemy." Then everyone can then say "oh yes, I see that now. Okay, very well, carry on." Totally cheap, but effective enough for some.

Unfortunately, Anucha didn't share Isiah's sentiments -- she was sufficiently offended by him, regardless of his skin color.

Actually, one white was' accused of backing it up and it's the guy who's wallet got hit with the entire lot.

Isiah's comments, which we are discussing here, had nothing to do with Dolan.

Dolan was accused of firing her during the investigation, not of calling her a "black, bitch 'ho."

isiah could've called her and explained his side of the story.

or msg/knicks could've called rutgers and told them that they will never play at the garden again if she didn't apologize.

there are many reasons why she said what she did and then retracted it.

OH give me a break DJ. Deny rutgers entrance into the garden? yeah maybe if Isiah owned it, but come on, to even insinuate that you think its possible that a threat of that magnitude would happen because a woman's basketball coach said something negative about Isiah is ridiculous. Honestly, I cant imagine that her opinion is worth much to anyone except people who are looking for more fuel for the anti-Isiah fire. I'm not saying that based on my opinion of her, I'm just talking about the weight of her opinion in society in general, she is a college basketball coach, it would be crazy to make a threat like that based on something she said, and imo, its crazy for you to suggest it.

Right, just like everyone loved Layden.

It's not like Brown's championships in two leagues and winning record at every club he ever coached had anything at all to do with it...

It't not about color it's about finding out the truth. Like I said I won't be draged into a debate on race. Unlike you haters I enjoy being a Knicks fan and you don't. I really don't believe that you are Knicks fans. You are fakes.
