I think Marbs gets caught up in trying to prove he's better than Kidd and starts playing a lot of one on one which hurts our offense. They also have two great scorers at the three and the two. We are trying to guard them with elementary school kids. I think we will have similar issues against Boston

Someone always has an excuse for that guy.

How is that an excuse for Marbury? How can it be viewed as anything but a criticism?

We can't beat the Nets because we have fans like Papabear who cheer on Isiah for bringing in players like Marbury, Curry, Randolph and Crawful. The more those types of fans cheer, the more career losers we get on the Knicks.

Man fans have the right to root for their team, it's the GM's job not to bring dumbasses and headcases in.

They do have the right, however, at what point do these fans wake the F up and stop supporting these highly questionable Isiah acquisitions? I mean really, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know a front line with Chubby and Randolph is not a recipe for success. Then you throw in Marbury and Crawful?!?!? I'm still in shock Isiah has managed to trade for every player in the NBA I hate. How is that even possible?!?!?! Whose next? Darius Miles? Stevie Frankenstein? Oh wait check that we already had that loser. Antoine Walker would look nice in orange and blue.

We tried for Rasheed the Weed Wallace and just recently Ron Artest. I don't get it either. This is a direct attack on Knick fans. What did we ever do to Dolan and Isiah to deserve this?

Over at realgm, I called for Rasheed Wallace. Reason being is that he's a skilled big man who is tough, plays DEFENSE, and had trade value so if it didn't work out here, we could have easily dumped him. Also he was on the last year of his contract, unlike Stiffbury who still had like 5 years left and 100 million. And we had to take on Hardaway, another player Isiah brought in with an immovable contract who ate up another valuable roster spot. Isiah's big mistake was throwing his chips all in for Stephon Marbury. Once that terrible move was made, it set us down the path towards hell. We could have traded for Sheed, bought out all of the crap, and finished in the lottery that first season under Zeke.

Also, I don't buy the "win now" mantra that Dolan supposedly told Isiah when he arrived. Thats a bunch a bull. I mean come on, hello???? Dolan had Don freaking Chaney as the coach, Layden "Mr. Do Nothing" as the gm, and had just brought in Van Horn for Sprewell. There was no "win now" when Layden was here. The only reason why Dolan fired Layden is because Stern stepped in and told Dolan, DO SOMETHING. Unfortunately, Dolan listened to the wrong moron at the Garden (Steve Mills) and rushed into hiring Isiah Thomas as President and GM. Did Dolan even bother to check Isiah's resume before hiring him???? This ain't Vancouver. This is NYC, the GARDEN! Dolan should have hired the best of the best, not the worst of the worst.
