Will Eddy Cuury and Zach Randolph play well together on the court for the yr ? Eddy Curry doesn't love the game of basketball like a nate robinson or z-bo. He likes basketball about as much as jerome james. Growing up eddy didn't like basketball, he liked tumbling at the half time of chicago bulls games this is why his feet are so nimble for a big man. He out grew tumbling and took up basketball with the urging on from other kids, but not with the same passion he had for tumbling. Scott skiles in chicago knew this , jim paxson of chicago knew this; but Isiah Thomas loves his boys from the west side of chicago(harvey illinois). Now he's a misfit and feels like the last puppy picked up from the dog pound. The guy feels left out since zach randolph has elevated his game. It's getting so bad , guys are trying to force feed eddy the ball to make him feel apart of the team. I'm afraid this could get ugly. Zeke is gonna continue to start eddy, but he should IMHO be coming off the bench and try to dominate the other teams 2nd unit. This is gonna be all mental with eddy all year unless he rediscovers a passion for the game.
No ,they won't mesh during the season
Yes , let Zeke work his magic

I don't don't think you have to ever worry about these two co existing becuase they wont play for long stretch's a a time. I T will always have to make adjustment because there not great defensively,
the opposition will just go small and curry picks up a quick 2 offensive fouls and he is headed to the bench, in comes lee.

Curry brings he's self off the bench Isiah won't even have to make he move.
This guy positioning in so inconsistant you wanna smack him right in the mouth everytime he does it wrong, becuase he knows how to do it right. Just like training a little kid or a rookie.

You guys want to blame Curry but last night he was the only bright spot on the team, he shot well from the floor. The true problem with the Knicks is their inconsistency by their guards to shoot well. Three player absolutley stunk it up last night and Crawford is and will always be VC's bitch. Marbury is a god awful PG who has no clue what to do other than the play called his ability to improvise and create opportunity for teammates is terrible. He has to get more of out of his teammates than he does. When a PG has no clue its tough all the way around for the entire team.

Bright spot with 6 rebounds, 5 fouls, 4 turnovers, 0 assists, and 1 blk in 35 min?
Are you kidding?
He get his 20 points but how many he allowed? Magloire looked like star (if he can make a free trw)
Eddy cannot stand his ground and this is not guards fault. They however suck big time anyway.

Thats just JKidd making him look like an all star.

Only if Eddie and Zeke figure out (and Curry accept) that the offense should run thru Zach. Zach will not average 23/10 for this team and that's a shame. In games where he scored 40 or more points, he shot 53.3% and when he averaged 30 or more, he shot 53.8% and got to the line 7 times a game. He'll get his boards but I hope they didn't bring him here to average 15/17 points because if that's the case, we will look and be the same team we were last year.

Last night Eddy got 21 points on 10 shots and 7 point from the line. That is efficient offense anyway you look at it. Eddy gets his and leaves tons of shots for everyone on the team. Its not like Stephon, Crawford and Z-Bo were knocking their shots down. Z-Bo had his own problems with Javie screwing him. You guys missed the part where NJ was totally disrespecting the NYK outside shooting and dropping down on EC. From what I saw Z-Bo got a lot of touches its just he didn't make them go in. It happens from time to time and they are going to figure it out sooner rather than later.

Isiah never had any magic to begin with. And Curry and Zach are both busts.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Eddy Curry is such a waste of space. The offense is completely stagnant with him and Randolph in there. Curry is obviously the weak link.

But Isiah is so tied to Curry, he's forced to play him as much as Curry's foul trouble allows. That's fine. It's only appropriate that another one of his mistakes takes him down.

Believe it or not, this is the way they do things in chicago.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Eddy thought last yr that he would be the lone low post player on the team, when we traded for Z-BO I think Curry had 2nd thoughts about it but won't let that be know publicly.

Curry had no idea Z-BO would become a fan favorite in a few preseason games.

Curry's pride has been damaged i think.

He's more like a 'playa favorite'.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Let us all pray that he figures out that the NBA isn't all about scoring.

We're doomed then.
I'll never trust this' team again.

And Curry's early comments since the trade was made reflect that.

"I'm curious to see how it will work." Signed EY Curry

Translation: "Why did he trade for Zach I thought I was the sole anchor down low, what about my touches coach."

Remember one of Isiah's quotes, after he brought this bum to New York? 'I have no regrets in bringing Curry to NY. I'd do it again'.
Not in those exact words, but that's basically what he said.
I'll never trust this' team again.

How can this tandem work when Isiah is married to Marbs and Crawford

Not to mention, they have 9 kids together.
I'll never trust this' team again.

The two main team problems is, none of them have any consitency at all. One has a great game and the other sucks for the night and then the next game, it's vice versa! The other problem is, this nucleus, when they start losing, they really start to get down and they stay down for a long time. There's no continuing passion to fight and bring themselves back up again. This is rubbing off on the kids. You wanna know what their biggest success is? The handful of game winning shots we had last year from several of the players, this team could very easily have had only 27 wins last year. That's as good as it has gotten. Zach will make some difference, but he's hanging by a toenail and if he or anyone else goes down with a big inujury, don't look to break the 30 win line.
I'll never trust this' team again.
