The only meanness I could ever see coming from Eddy would be stealing other people's food.

LMAO

I like eddy but even i had to laugh. The thing that game to mind was the Hamburgerler from the McDonald's commercials.

curry is supposed to be our "centerpiece" right? there was one telling incident last night that sums up curry for me - it was during a timeout in the 4th where zeek needed a score - he calls a timeout and was talking to the team and all i could focus on were curry and nate, both with towels hiding their faces, laughing it up in the background/perimeter of the huddle while zeek was trying to draw up a play for the team coming out of the timeout.

comparitively speaking, if you are the cornerstone, centerpiece, etc. shouldnt your head be in the game at all times? i mean, if you are the leader of the team, what example are you trying to set?

zach looked lost out there with curry in the game at the same time, but great when curry was out of the game. i think you will see alot more of that this year, but i also believe that there will be a momentum switch where zach will become the focus and eddy will just be pushed to the side by zeek as his heart is 1/5th of what zach's is....

just calling it as i see it.

That might be the problem. I don't think you can be both a cornerstone and a centerpiece at the same time.

Would you trade Eddy for Noah and Thomas right now?

I think the answer is yes in a heartbeat, centers are overated in this league if your not winning a championship which this team is farther away from because of Eddy. I would even give the bulls another first rounder for those two kids. You can't but a price on defense and intensity.....

so it is not just me.. curry does look fat...

tkf I've said since day one he doesn't look 20lbs lighter. His face is not as bloated but otherwise he looks like his normal 285lb playing self. He does nothing for us defensively. A lot of his defensive struggles center around him not even trying to play D. If he'd just try he might get good at playing it.

Yea, looking at the game last night, curry looked winded, zach who is not in 100% shape yet, looked like he could go another quarter. It almost makes you wonder, the way zach plays if we really need both guys. I heard someone mention in another thread that KG outplayed both zach and eddy. I wonder what game he was watching, zach got 3 quick fouls on KG in the 4th, KG worked hard, zach was up to the task, one thing about him is that ne works hard at getting position....

I don't take anything a Knick source says, seriously. Whether it's negative or positive.

KG outplayed them on both ends of the court TKF. I mean the guy had 5blks and altered several shots along with producing a double double. If KG takes the same amount of shots as Zach did their offensive production cancels each other out. KG was also the only guy playing two supposed beast for 35-40min. If you flip the script no way Curry could guard Zach and KG over 35min nor could Zach guard Curry and KG over 35min. Now in their one-on-one match-ups yes Zach was given KG the Biz.

KG has been top 5 best player in the NBA for the past like 10yrs. There is almost nobody in the NBA that matches his intensity. He could anchor a defense & and offense. With better managment behind him he would have rivaled(spell) Tim Duncan's success all these yrs.

So expecting Randolph & Curry to match him isn't really fair. Because there isn't many players in the NBA who can. Replace Curry with Camby or someone of that nature and it would be a better matchup though. Since we would have a better balance of offense & defense in the frontcourt.

Curry will be fine. Last night he had it rough but thats what preseason is all about getting the kinks out the way for the regular season. Curry to me looks more dominant that last year he looks like he has purpose.
