“In practice they are,” he said. “And the reason I say in practice they are is because I see their habits. I see their work ethic. I see their desire to be very good. What’s going to happen, what’s going to tell to me is, Isiah’s given them a very sound strategy, philosophy. Last year they kind of had the excuse that everything was kind of new. It was a transition. This year, they’re going to have to take what Isiah’s telling them and execute it, from defensive strategy to plays. They can be very good. I’ve seen it in practice.
“What I saw in Boston was very atypical of how they’ve been working during training camp. So my answer is I think they can be (a playoff team), but they’re going to have to take everything they’re practicing and what Isiah is telling them and do that. It’s not like they don’t have a good strategy. They have an identity I think now and they have good enough players.”

And we still haven't had a legitimate homegame yet. We know how delicate they are, how they gonna handle the "Fire Isiah" that can't be far off.
this team has to win at home this year. if they could muster 27 home wins...they have a shot for .500.
So don't you boo them Mr. DJ!!!
the only people i've ever booed at the garden were jimimou and the dude that sells the foam fingers...
i should amend this - i also booed when they got rid of the edy's ice cream booth that had all the toppings like oreo cookies, reese's pieces, and gummy bears. i must've booed for 3 weeks straight for that one.

After a report card like that should be enough to get a sweet new intern sent to isiah's room.
