He's a pretty good scorer and the best outside shooter on the team. He boards well for a 3. He's solid defensively. He plays hard and smart and is a leader. We don't have many players who play well on both sides of the court.

As far as his health, that's an open question. The doctors are optimistic about the results of his surgery, but we've heard that before. Sometimes they're right and sometimes they're not. We'll see for sure this season.

Q when healthy and making his shot is a very positive player on the team. He plays good defense and creates matchup problems for the opposing team. Plus, he usually plays under control, is mentally tough, and is not afraid to get in someone's face if they are not doing what they need to do.

when Q is healthy he is arguably the most complete player this team has. versatility is hard to come by on our roster, and Q has it. the fact that he is a good teammate, vocal leader, and doesn't make an ass of himself in the papers, are all bonuses. one of the reasons I'm excited about Chandler is that it's easy to see he has the tools to have a complete game just like Q, only Chandler is far more athletic.
