i've always defended nate- but his greatest strength is his ability to penetrate and unless he can set up team mates for easy shots, he will be largely a side show.

there are plenty of players who can put points up in this league, and unless they can do something else, they're just stat whores.

The greatest ability of Nate is to entertain the public. All the rest is secondary. No joy for Nate - no use from Nate.

Welcome rocknick and do not take it too serious...

Lee also showed a new dimension to his game, repeatedly driving the ball at defenders and drawing fouls. He went 8 for 9 from the free-throw line, both team highs.

I don't doubt that in 2-3 years Lee will have a better 3pt % than Crawford. He is slowly turning into a poor man's larry bird- a tweener without amazing physical talents, but who has a nose for the ball and winning

That was very encouraging. I'd like to see him get starter's minutes this season, even if he doesn't start. We got very lucky with David Lee. The Spurs must be shaking their heads about what might have been. Imagine Lee up front with Duncan and Ginobli.
