ESPN had a poll asking this and the overwhelming response was that Isiah should be fired. How will the response be on UK?

And quite frankly, if you REALLY ARE A FAN OF THIS TEAM, THE KNICKS, not Isiah or Marbury...the KNICKS, est. 1946, you should want what is BEST for this team and BEST for its fans that spend time and money on it.

That's really what it's all about.

He wont be fired, fined nor suspended. He will not be punished at all by Dolan or the NBA.

People who count will see this as a sham.

The only people who count are the ones who were on the jury. You and I don't and should have very minimal emotional attachment to the results.

I dont have large emotional attachment. I just would just like to see justice done for everyone.

And since you aren't an employee of MSG or an eye witness to what transpired there on a day-to-day basis, nor were you selected on the juror panel therefore you aren't qualified to know what would be just or not. Trying to come up with random resolution figures is nothing but an opinion. You aren't even basing your outcome from previous similar cases. When you're disappointed at the supposed injustice(unproven) you've wagered your emotions.

It would be understandable if Isiah was fired. He has made the playoffs only once in his first season. He has spent a ton of money. He was just sued for sexual harrassment. Based on pure results and nothing else he has failed so far.

It would also be understandable if Dolan wanted to give him this season or half this season to see how the team does. I doubt he would want to go with a whole new GM & Coach right as the season is about to start. I also doubt he would trust this season in which he wants playoffs so badly to Mark Aguirre or Herb Williams.

All I want as of right now is for the roster to be balanced. I really don't care who does it.

If Stern does nothing it'll be because there's no precedent for a commissioner to punish a team president, head coach or team owner for losing a civil case against them.

NBA spokesman Tim Frank said the league's policies "do not encompass civil litigation."

Like I said.

No, you said the league wouldn't do something because of something about a scam.

I doubt the league thinks anything like that. I think the league would be upset that they dragged the league through the mud, again, and would love to do something but there's no precedent for it since it was a civil matter, so they won't.

Welcome.

I'm not expecting Stern to do anything either. But I've been wrong on this so far, so who knows.

Co-signed.

Same here.

This is a witch hunt. People just want to fire isiah so bad. To hell with a espn poll. Common sense will preveil.

If isiah isn't winning above .500 by christmas? Have your way with him! I don't see the knicks being below .500 at christmas so in other words...........

Go knicks!

So it's okay if he isn't winning by Christmas. Why do you feel that fans have to go by your time frame?
I just hope that people will like me

He absolutely should be fired. He seems to have many lives in this job. I hope his tenure is finally ending.

isiah was found guilty in a court of law. repeat, he was found guilty in a court of law. he can appeal but that doesn't change the fact that he is guilty NOW.

why are people still going to bat for him? is this a form of sexism being exhibited by the mostly male posters on this forum?

He was not found guilty in a court of law.

He was found liable. There is a huge difference.

I think Isiah should be given at least a few more years to show progress. Better yet, Dolan should show his confidence in Isiah by naming him GM/Coach for life. Then we could all stop arguing.

i mean this isn't some beat writer saying he heard from people in the lockerroom that isiah sexually harrassed someone. this is a case where evidence was presented in a court of law, with isiah there to defend himself, yet still wasn't able to convince a jury of 7. now, he can appeal but this is pretty darn incriminating.
