i'd love that if isiah thought chandler was ready enough to get minutes. plus if jeffries is healthier than last year, he could be effective as an energy guy/disrupter off the bench. hopefully disrupting the OTHER team.

Marv - we both know that the mayor is a freshman candidate who barely knows his constituents, let alone where the skeletons are hidden...

but watching Balkman struggle with a 16 footer in Vegas was excruciating to say the least, and I like humpty... I mean... the Balkster

Jeffries simply needs to be prohibited from shooting, period. End of story. Rebound, block shots and defend the passing lanes. Period. Hell if it was good enough for Dennis freakin' Rodman...

Only jefferies isn't a good defender or rebounder. He is 6'11 with extremly long arms and is pulling down under five a game. He is just not a good player, but he is one of the few knicks that really was praised for his summer spending 4 hours a day working on his game hopefully something paid off. Rodman pulled in close to 14rbs most of his career and was one of the leagues best defenders, Jefferies isn't a top 40 defender.

We don't need balkman to knock down jumpers we need him to do what he does be active, get rebounds and finish around the rim, play solid defense and be disruptive

Let it begin.

I smell a Poll on "Who Gets Injured This Season" comin' on...

My fearless picks in random order:

1. Marbury, the knees start barking in December

2. Jerome James, a "gimme" if there ever was one

3. Malik Rose, well, he's really not injured but stashed on the injured list with (wink) tendinitis

4. Eddy Curry, twists an ankle in pre season, leaving the starting center position up for grabs

5. Dan Dickau (see reason number 3)

That's a good point regarding Marbury. He is a guy who is willing to play through pain. But his problems late last season should be a wake up call to Isaiah and the message is to cut his minutes so he's still able to play in the last months of the season.

With this medical staff I am only surprised we dont have TWO players out already for LONGER. As a matter of fact I would even go so far as saying we will lose another key player before the end of the preseason and they will be out for something ridiculous like 2 or 3 months. THATS how bad our medical staff is.

It may help Nichols case more. With Randolph and Curry in the post I don't see how you can keep him out of the rotation entirely.
I'm tired,I'm tired, I'm so tired right now......Kristaps Porzingis 1/3/18
