Agree 100%
Look at the Rangers
They had problems but looks like lately team is on right track. And nobody see Dolan invoiwed.
It's always same - get read of wrong people, get good personalities and things are back on track.

Only thing I'll say about this is that Sather was allowed to correct his mistakes. He was given plenty of latitude and years upon years to get the situation right, despite his inept decision-making. We'll see if Zeke is afforded the same.

not to mention a strike which erased all team's salary cap hell situations. if there wasn't a strike, the rangers may still be garbage.

Dolan will never leave - he is the owner. He won't fire himself nor sell.

I found this article on Dolan. His management style at Cablevision is the same as that for the Knicks and Rangers. He is arrogant, impulsive and likes "yes" people. Yet Cablevision is booming so he must have some smarts that he is hiding from us.

One positive thing I will say about Dolan is that, IMO, he really wants to Knicks to be a Championship team. He has put his money where his mouth is and spent huge amounts of money - but chose the wrong people to run the Knicks. We are stuck with Dolan, but "HE" can fire Isiah and Mills and bring in new, respected management. That would be a giant step for all (Knicks) mankind..

Markji - outstanding perspective on Cablevision that most people miss

The Knicks are a relatively small asteriod in the Newscorp universe.

4949 - if you think Cablevision is selling its stake in the Knicks because of some foul language, then you are 100,000 times more delusional than Larry Brown thought Trevor Ariza was.
We'll see what the courts say. I'd think you'd be happy of the possibility. Man' some people are such fools to support such crap. Oh well!
