Are the Knicks so good that they can say they are too deep or in danger of getting too much depth? I thought the Knicks sucked?
I believe in the crew the Knicks currently have but getting a shotblocker is something that we all feel the knicks need. Getting a shot blocker at the 3 spot is wicked with Curry and Zach in the mix at the 4-5......Balkman off the bench would be fine.....that would just be another defensive, rebounding monster off the bench. Q is coming off back surgery so he shouldn't be asked to play 35 mins at any position.
Ak doesn't want to play for Utah anymore and Deron Williams totally ****ted on him already so he is definately available.
The name of the game is decreasing the roster and applying an impact player in the mix. AK brings that stat we are missing.
Knicks need a shooter as well.....maybe the "extra depth" could produce a shooter in a trade during the season? why not?
AK really impressed me with his shot blocking in the playoffs. I thought maybe he wasn't a threat shooting, but on D, he was a real pain. It's always a tough thing to look to add a guy like him. He makes so much money and he's had some real personal issues in Utah. You could just chalk it up to being unhappy. A change of scene may just be all he needs to be re-energized. If we can move several guys that we don't need to get him it may be a good move for us. We obviously need more D.
