We all know the sordid details of what's been going on with this Organization and it really starts with Dolan. He's the one common denominator over this long stretch of losing. The current issues are also a reflection of his management. Isiah's presidency has had a lot of drama, he like Dolan get's the blame for bringing in guys that cause drama.
This doesn't mean that they're automatically guilty of doing the things they're being accused of doing and the fact that it's happening to this team adds to the bad taste that many have for this regime. I love the Knicks not management. I'm only defending them in so much as they're not guilty until proven to be so. You don't have to like Isiah as a person, coach or GM. I want him to be successful in his job only because he's the coach of my favorite team. I'm not saying i'd want to have dinner with him and Dolan just because I want things to work out for the best.
My allegiance is to the NY Knicks period. However, i'm not going to take a biased negative view of this org. in this case, just cuz they aren't the greatest management group in the league. Being guilty of making bad basketball decisions doesn't mean they're guilty of everything thrown at them.
With regard to Isiah's real personality. I think if you've ever been around successful captains of industry, you'd see that most of them are nasty individuals when it comes to business. They all have a public face and another one to their employees and business partners. Isiah is no different. So it doesn't surprise me that he would be a lot tougher to work for than he presents himself to the public. That doesn't make him a bad guy or guilty of sexual harrassment.
I am not quite understood why are you on defensive and why you try to defend Isiah.
As you sad the terrible things are happening with Knicks during his GM time. You are not accepting that this is mostly his fault. Fine. But even if it's not, he did nothing to prevent these things from happening.
And about "captains of industry" being bad, write this or wrong, it is not an excuse for any specific individual, including Isiah. Each person responsible for what he is done or sad himself regardless of his position and powers. More power and public exposure person has- more responsibilities he carries.
Isiah is a good salesmen and scout. But I guess these talents are too small for him to satisfy his ego. This is not surprising after his HOF player years. Some people just cannot stop. But why Knicks should suffer?
We get our portion of abuse already. Organization should let him go to damage somebody else house.
