Our defense is awful and our players don't compliment each other on offense. .500 will be a challenge.

I'm not going to make any predictions until I see who's on the team and see them play a few games together. Isiah can bring in talent, but can he bring in guys who complement each other?
https:// It's not so hard.

That's always been the knock on Isaiah's moves. My thought on that has always been that you need to have talent before you can get balance. When Isaiah took over the team, our best players were Kurt, Houston and Van Horn. Considering their ages, there wasn't a lot of trade value in that group. He started with very little and has some pretty good players who do have trade value. Maybe now, he can fill in the blanks and get players who compliment each other.

In Isiah's haste to turn over Layden's roster, he also destroyed the best team the Knicks had. People forget that when Isiah pulled the trigger on LAYDEN'S package to get Marbury, the team had KT, KVH, Houston and Doleac on the roster... all guys who excel at the pick and pop, which clearly was Marbury's best skill.
