Briggs was right that we should have drafted Bynum

After Frye who else was a sure thing at the time? No sexy names really.

ummmmmm...Danny Granger

he was the answer at 3 but now we gotta platoon the position in the hopes someones game becomes complete on both sides of the ball.

Granger ws fresh off of a knee surgery, he had the talent, but was a huge question mrk and thats the only reason he fell out of the lottery. It would have been a huge risk. The jury is till out on whther he is going to make it through a career without that injury nagging him.

Oh crap

CDB - I didn't read any mention of Bynum in playa's post. Did you?
Im talking about Playa's time on Knickscity where that was all he was talking about and trying to prove. Playa have the biggest hate on Frye, so this thread wasn't a surprise.

At the time I didn't have a problem with drafting Frye. I liked his game and I thought he was low risk. I remember there were those who thought we should draft a guy that had a bigger upside. Taft or Blatche, were suggested. Bynum was a possibility, but we were looking at players that could come in and contribute sooner rather than MUCH later. Who really knew what Bynum would be? Kwame Brown was still the big fear, tho he did have all the talent to be special. LA is still waiting to find out exactly what they have.
Frye may have been misused here, so I won't say that he's a bust yet. We'll see how he does in Portland. I think he's in a good situation cuz he's not the big draft pick there. He can just be himself with far less pressure.

The guy in there Isiah should have really picked was Jared Jack he is a real steady floor leader and was in college. Instead he does what he always does takes talent over character.....Frye i won't miss him never wanted him always though granger and bynum would have been better selection.

Here we are three years after the draft still in search of a pg and sf could have taken care of them there. And thats not thinking in hindsight it was obvious at the time. And that draft also help spur on free agent signings that are now locking up roster selections.

Oden looks very good and can really pass the ball

Frye was a bad pick, but since we got Zach for him, I can't complain.

Frye, who was supposed' to be Isiah's best pick a few years back, just goes to show you that we have no' diamonds in the rough. I'd be willing to bet on just how far Lee, Balkman and Collins will get. If they just end up looking good and are not factors soon, then it's fair to say it would be a bust!
I'll never trust this' team again.

Fry will get his game back. I think that he is the kind of guy that needs to be the center of attraction. Last season mentally broke him down. When Curry became the go to guy and he was trying hard not to make any mistakes and trying to get Zeke approval everything fell apart for him.

Fyre allowed us to get Randolph, which is not a bad thing. Moreover, in Chandler, Balkman, and Nichols, we already have our future SF on the team, we just have to figue out which one should be the starter. I wish Fyre good luck because he played hard and gave us his all. It just did not work out for him here. I think he will be a solid backup in Portland.

Fry just happened to be at hand. Portland will trade Zach for anything and there were no other team interested in this head case.
So trade has nothing to do with Fry specifically.

I think when you look at this team there is a reason they dumped Zach for a pile of ****. This team is practicing together weeks before camp and surprise surprise Zach is a no show anytime the knicks put together a workout.....

Wasn't so long ago the blazers were a disaster now they have one of the brightest teams in the league. A little luck obviously, but you get what you pay for. Intelligent people target intelligent players.

Marbury, T. Thomas, Penny, Rose, Francis, Nate, Curry, etc.

Isiah has a habit of overlooking core values and then all of a sudden you get a guy like francis who kills the lockeroom and a player like nate who is just a ****ing ******* and it spreads.

The Fan Event at MSG is the Perfect example:
1. You suck
2. 33, 23, 33 wins?

These guys with the exeption of David Lee are real *******s. Marbury an hour late to a two hour event and leaves early, nate with an attitude, jefferies gets up and leaves (u have the skill level of a high school girl) no shows 2 years in a row Jamal, Balkman, Curry, QRich, Francis, pretty much the entire team.

Surprise suprise who was the only guy realy embracing the fans David Lee spending hours hugging and smiling and being appreciative.

Who cares about Frye, put its time for isiah to step up and make these guys men, and not pretend there is real unity here.
