I thought Dolan got to you guys and bought you out.
How much would it take for you guys to sell out like that? Just curious?

Not sure if I can take the answer!

LOL. Glad to see I wasn't the only one suffering from withdrawal. I kept looking for the ultimateknicks tab in the open window even though I knew it was down.

So you're the one responsible for the DDoS attack

I thought it was because the server couldn't handle "rule" and "Buick" in the same sentence.
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

fortunately, its the summer time, things are slow, and my life is hectic. Plus, I never really recovered from the LB debacle. I had shut down the last 3rd of that season and never returned to full strenghth. This site is still one of my favorite stops, but not as much as it used to be. I did click UK about 10 times last night thinking, wtf?

yea that season killed a little piece of all of our souls. but we should make a comeback this year, via the game threads. nothing's better than dudes all over the globe watching the game "together" and going off in unision. not to mention checking arkrud's posts as he gets his game-time vodka on.

This site probaly got more hits while it was down than when it is up.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Isn’t it time the truth was told? It was all part of a research project.

Researchers were interested in observing the response of internet sports forum participants to lack of access to their favorite forums.

Researchers speculated that after an initial period of frustrated clicking and a brief “withdrawal” phase users would content themselves by visiting other forums and check back in a day or so.

To the researchers astonishment, users continued to click compulsively on their favorites and bookmarks, even though it was obvious that the site was down. In one particular instance, a user tried to open up the “UltimateKnicks.com” web site an astonishing once every ten seconds for 18 hours straight, three days in a row for a total of 19,440 clicks. This sports-forum addict refused all food and liquid sustenance during the blackout period.

Users were also observed in the following futile activities:

* Checking their email for information from the web site’s administrators about the outage.
* Scanning other forum sites for information about the outage.
* Wishing there was a backup site or mailing list
* Wishing that the site was running on a regionally diversified cluster

“This was a particularly interesting and amusing experiment” said one researcher, who said we should just call him “Marty” to protect his identity. “Those idiots just kept clicking and clicking! Ha ha ha ha ha!”

“And they had no idea what was wrong or how long it might last. Hilarious.” chimed in his buddy, who went by the nom de plume of “Andy”.

The research project ended early on Monday 8/20 after many users developed carpel tunnel syndrome from clicking on their UK favorites or bookmarks. “It was time to end their misery.” Said Marty. “We’re not totally without compassion.”

Man i didn't realize how much this is a part of my life until it was gone. I was freakin out. I don't have the usual guys to talk too about NY sports since i've moved to Georgia and this is my main lifeline. Yeah I can go over to Scout or Real GM, but they're not on this level. I'm just glad it's back.

could have been worse. The season could have been in progress. The word 'piss', that's another one that needs to be blocked. I don't need to know about anyone taking out the old wizzer.
I'll never trust this' team again.

That's good idea. Create a board that appeals to Dol and pitch it to him. Or............sort of throw it his way. I know, stupid, but just a thought.
