In fact Isiah never has traded a #1 over all pick so that doesnt even make much sense.

Some feel that if the Knicks never had Eddy Curry and had continued starting guys like Mo Taylor at center, that we may have gotten a #1 pick.

Nobody ever said having #1 picks was bad. I simply posted about a fact that Sports Illustrated had pointed out in their magazine. Some how that threatens the clones. The clones should go bash Sports Illustrated for daring to point out a fact in their magazine.

No, I'm questioning the way YOU presented it and the fact that you made your pointless comment, which you continue to dodge. I will take further evasion as an admission.

Some felt that because Memphis and Boston had the NBA's worst records they would have them end up with the #1 pick. How did that end up?

Evasion and admission of what? That you looked to make the point in to something it never said? Good take your admission. I'm taking your evasion that the moon is made of cheese as an admission that you believe it is so.

One thing I don't get. Why do people cling to the exceptions to the rule as if they are the rule?

The Knicks have sucked for six consecutive years. Marbury has been part of that for four, Curry for two. Subtract either of those guys and there would've been multiple opportunities. Far from a guarantee, but a reasonable possibility. And that's just talking about the #1 overall.

Did you or did not post this:

I could show plenty of guys drafted low that have made the nba finals or even won.

Why you have dodged me on five consecutive posts instead of explaining what the point of saying that was makes it pretty obvious.

How did it work for Cleveland and Orlando? Of course you're talking post Tank Era which Stern isn't having part in it anymore.

As I previously answered,
The point was that the stat Sports Illustrated posted was surprising. The post I responded to just seemed like a rationalization of that.

Why didnt you answer the post about the moon being made of cheese? I take that evasion as an admission that you believe it to be true.

Exceptions? The lottery is made up of 15 teams. Even if you assume that we have the worst record (which is a huge assumption) the odds of getting the #1 pick for the team is no greater than 25% I believe.

Thats not an exception to the rule. Go look it up!

This is why you're not worth talking to you. You intentionally miss the point and tried to catch me on a "technicality", of which everyone knows was not the point to start with.

Dude you spoin so much that I have no idea what point you are trying to make at all.

The thread was about a fact SI had pointed out in their magazine in regards to #1 over all picks. It had nothing to do with Isiah, Curry, or Marbury.
You and your clone persona freak out and try to turn every thread in to a bash on Isiah or the Knicks. Sports Illustrated never mentioned the Knicks nor Isiah

since the inception of the draft lottery in 1985 - 18 out of a max of 44 different teams have made it to the finals:

celtics, rockets, lakers, pistons, portland, bulls, suns, knicks, magic, sonics, jazz, spurs, pacers, 76ers, nets, dallas, miami, cleveland

of those only 8 have won titles:

celtics, lakers, pistons, bulls, rockets, spurs, lakers, heat

since 2000, 9 out of a max of 16 different teams made the finals. of those 9, 4 different teams have won titles. the bulk of those 9 different teams come out of the east as it has been a weaker conference and has much more parity.

Upon being confused, people who wish to know ASK. Antagonists make blanket assumptions and stick to those. You are the latter, until proven otherwise.

Yea, I tried to follow the conversation and really I have no clue what he is asking of you, but it seems that any point made on this forum, has to be turned around into a isiah and knick bashing, and when one doesn't give into arguing that point, then he is accused of evasion.....

At least that is what is seems like....

Only 1 team (Spurs)has won the NBA championship in the last 22 years with a player (Duncan/Robinson) they have chosen with the number 1 over all pick in the draft.

Which Robinson are you refering to? Glenn or David. I think the Spurs won with Glen too.

Exactly. This thread topic had absoutely nothing to do with the Knicks,or Isiah but every thread regardless of subject must be brought back to Knicks bashing at some point.
