I am not denying that it is a cheap shot at Mchale, and one I think Mchale deserves, maybe I ma wrong here, but that is how I feel. Mchale is a jerk and at times so is marbury. Now I am a fair minded guy, but I ask what is different about the comments that steph made, than the cheap shots we get from other players and coaches around this league? I honestly think the big difference is that marbury and Isiah are hated around here, so it is OK to get bashed but a got damn sin to retaliate in any form...

Good point, I remember that silly comment he made when he was with the suns, and you know what, when I jumped on marbury( and this was on the realgm site) people defended marbury saying, well he is better than ward and childs, so he can say that, similar to comments like this:

Jason Kidd has every right to cheap shot the knicks considering he ****s on them every time we played them has brought his team to two finals, has the nets in the playoffs every season and they have taken 85% of the games vs the knicks.....
If you play hard on both ends of the floor and are one of the top 5 pgs of all time i think you could say what you want.

You see it is thinking and comments like that, that makes me think, oh what the hell, I guess what marbury said wasn't that bad, I mean the wolves suck, Mchale is a jerk and a bad GM, so I guess marbury has every right to say that. I mean people can't have it both ways..

But I am not dissagreeing with you, it was a cheap shot and you refreshed my memory about marbury and his other cheap shots, yea he can be an idiot, I said this already, and you are right, when is enough, enough.... I agree, but I am giving him a pass on this one since it is Mchale who is a first rate scumbag.

tkf I believe it was in 1998-1999 that Marbury went on a unsolicited rant against Charlie Ward and Chris Childs. I believe Marbury was a Net at that time. It was ironic because they later went to the finals that year. 2 years later Marbury went after Ward again. What did Ward ever do to Marbury? Nothing.

Isiah was only repeating a Dennis Rodman line(Rodman was serious) that the media read him. Isiah was joking and said it with a laugh. That should not be misreperesented.

Please change the title of this thread. You are misreprenting it by saying Knicks instead of Marbury. Marbury is not the spokesperson for the Knicks.
