totally random prediction, eddy gets traded after next season.
For Kobe?

I wish Isiah would offer Lee, Curry, Crawford, Jones and Dicaku for Kobe. Yes, it's a lot.. but Kobe is one of the greats. When you compare twhat the akers owuld get for Kobe to what the Wolves got for Garnett, that trade actually is defensible. I like to think that Marbury, Randolph and Kobe is enough firepower in the East, especially when the team can start Balkman as well.

But t hen agan, maybe I'm delusional and that's not enough to acquire Kobe.

isiah likes to make trades. he will continue to do so. and not on a small scale either.

that would actually be the appropriate move, but Isiah's ego is reversely proportionate to his intelligence, so......

Well you get where I'm going here.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Isn't trading for a 25 y/o, 23 and 10, 61 million dollar PF being in "win now" mode?

Or am I wrong about something?

it's both. win now while still thinking of the future.

Not if Eddy comes out and has a killer season, gets 20 and 10 and plays D.

Eddy?? Eddy Curry??

I won't say it's impossible, but he's not likely to get 10 boards and play D.

If I had to choose, then I would hope he plays some D.

We have other guys to rebound.

I agree with this. We don't need his rebounding, but.................We should not settle for just being a good/great rebounding team. WE should be looking to pummel teams on the boards. We can always get better. IF someone is capable of rebounding we should be encouraging them to. It can only help.

With Eddie, we should not focus upon improving his rebounding or his D. We should focus upon teaching him to improve his overall consistent effort. Then everything will fall in line.
I just hope that people will like me
