Choke city.

Pierce won't know what to do, Ray is solid, but the creaky knees still stand, and KG has done nothing in the playoffs.

Playoff ball is very different. Those boys have talent, but is it the right talent? And who is the leader? Pierce is a moron, KG shrivels, and Ray Ray is not battle tested. Pierce is mentally soft, KG defers and the supporting cast is soft.

Knicks need to take care of their own business before they start giving it away to the Celts. Fans too, y'all soundiung pretty wussified on this.

What we doing this year anyway? .500? One round or two? Maybe? What, the Celts gonna knock us out of the Conf. finals?

nalod, i think pierce is one of the best "clutch" players in the league. he ranks near the top in game winning field goals and stuff like that throughout his history.

you put cassel + spree with kg, and you go to the WCF's. in the east, ray + pierce with kg can get you to the finals.

i think the way you have to look at it is this, do you have a lebron? a wade? a melo? dwight? some guy you can say, "ok, let's build around that guy". if the answer is no, then you need to start making moves.

the closest player ainge can say that about is al jefferson, and that's a pretty big stretch since he's really done nothing in the league yet.

ray has won and advanced in the playoffs before.
as did pierce.
as did kg (well once).

so bringing those 3 together probably won't be as big a risk as you may anticipate. all 3 of them are considered great teammates and ray + kg are considered team leaders.

Sorry Dolan but if this deal is consummated Boston's going places we aren't and that's towards the "Shiny Stuff". Before you blink you do the deal if you're Boston. Heck you could parlay one if not 2 of those star players somewhere else to help rebuild if need be next yr if you get slightly less than desired results.

The Pierce getting T'd up because he got intentionally fouled against indy whas my benchmark of bitchness. You know is spew little venom for any player exception for Pierce.

Don't get me wrong, Boston jumps ahead of us, but how far we going any way? Boston is going "win now".

We still have more talent on our team. But its not about roster, its about getting it together.

If we did the same deal many fans would complain we were giving up our future for an aging high priced star once again.

This really pushes the Celts to the upper tier of the east. Just hope Isiah doesn't panic and try to overpay for Artest.

I'll tell you what, they make that trade, and suddenly their Vegas odds change drastically from the 100/1 they are now!!!

Anyone in Vegas want to put $100 on the Celtics for me?

I bet they're taking Boston off the board for a couple of days.

He has to panic because as of now, and if the trade goes down we are not likely to make the playoffs

1. Bulls
2. Pistons
3. Cavs
4. Nets
5. Boston
6. Orlando
7. Toronto
8. Miami/Washington
9. Charlotte/New York

We still have more talent on our team than boston if they do that deal.......

KG is better than Curry and Randolf
Pierce is better than a combination of Marbury and Crawford
Allen is better than every guard and foward on our team

Lets get a grip you could sign a few veteran role players and it wouldn't matter because allen is a spot up shooter, pierce is a slasher, kg is a post up face up team.

You bring a veteran pg like Brevin Knight in to distribute the ball and someone that just going to bang they come out of the east

I think we can be beat Orlando and Charlotte. It will be a tough year to make the playoffs but Randolph is a huge upgrade over what Frye did last year and the entire team should be better prepared to start off strong, unlike last year when it took 20 games for the coaches and the players to all get on the same page.

Maybe thats what I have needed for the last few years?

A new villan! Someone to root against!

On paper its a great trio. Kind of like the Nets?

Just a pipe dream, but we have better assets than Boston.

How? Al Jefferson averaged 20/10 over the last quarter of the season and averaged 16/11 for the season as a 22 year old. Plus he's a good kid that won't cause trouble and he's underpaid as a 4th year player. Who do the Knicks have even remotely close to him that they can offer?

Aging or not

22.4pts(leads Knicks) 12.8rbs (leads knicks) 4.1ass 1.2stl 1.7blks (leads knicks) also plays more minutes than any knick, which could be scaled down, kg has four-five good years left.....

You act like we are brining in Jalen Rose, Steve Francis, McDyess, or Penny Hardaway, kg is one of the top 6 players in the entire league.......

You want Balkman, Randolf, Morris, and Nate and you have a deal for that guy. We can win the championship with that team, gives us lots of veteran presence, and a real chance to go for it.

Curry-Rose
Garnett-Lee
Q-Jefferies
Crawford-Nicholas
Marbury-Collins

It's amazing how KG, Allen and Pierce would all complement each other. Funny how some teams think that matters.

You really think it's going to be an easy thing to integrate an ill fitting piece like Randolph? Assuming they can at all.

Doesn't matter because in the NBA you're only allowed five guys on the floor at once- and when you look at who wins Championships, its usually the team that has the best one or two players in the game.

KG, Allen & Pierce are better than the best three players we can put out there- Curry, Zach & who?

If those three can put it together during the season & stay healthy (two big IFS), then they are right there in the playoffs.
