Here's the update, confirming what was posted on last page.


BURR RIDGE, Ill. (AP) - Three masked robbers broke into the suburban Chicago home of New York Knicks center Eddy Curry on Saturday morning and held his family and an employee at gunpoint.

Deputy chief of police John Madden said the three offenders restrained Curry, his family and an employee with duct tape inside the Burr Ridge home.

Madden said police believe it was not a random incident.

No one was injured in the incident, and the robbers made off with cash and jewelry. The value was not disclosed.

I've heard straight from the source (I've met with Martin before; not a big deal but still...) that most of you are like 30+, some are even 40-50 and older.


I'm 21, and immature at that (well....in some ways).


I will joke about Faddy (Eddy + fatass) getting robbed at gunpoint anyday I want, and you can't do a damn thing about it.

One day you'll understand. One day you'll have someone else in your life that you have responsibility for and all you can think about is that persons safety and well being. If like me you've had a child die you would know a pain that no one should ever have to go thru and you'd know how hard it is to feel totally helpless in not being able to protect the ones you love.

Yeah i'm 42 and I have children that aren't much younger than you. There's just a certain degree of tact that should be recognized by anyone, whether young or old. Your youth would be an excuse if you truly didn't know better, but now your arrogant stance makes me think that you did know better and you thought it was OK to do it anyway.

This is sad news.
There is however a reason why criminals are targeting NBA players - you always can find cash and jewelry.
I never have more that $100 of cash at home and whatever jewelry and papers I have are in the bank box. This is common for middle and upper-midlle class comunities. So robbers know it is nothing to look for.

Bobs, people in this society constantly make the mistake of not realizing that Free Speech flips both ways. You can say whatever you want too (even if you're playing around)...True. However, the other side of that coin is that they can say whatever they want back to you.....also True.

Just take this opportunity to be gracious and apologize for the slight of hand. You'd garner more respect by taking that position and i'm sure it would be water off the back for most if not all the UK members.

That's messed up. I hope Curry and his family are ok and his kids aren't completely traumatized.

I hope to God that they capture these animals before they do it to another family.
