Good points. The only thing is I don't think Zach's contract is that outrageous for a guy that gets 20 and 10. If you look around the league at players that get his numbers he is getting paid the least. He will make 13 mil this year while J Oneal will make 19 mil and J Oneal get's injuried all the time. We would have been paying that bum Francis 16 mil this year for nothing. Zach will only be seeing 16 mil at the end of his contract.

for max money i want a guy who plays on both ends of the floor... we'll see how the investment in Zach turns out, but past history suggests it's going to come back to haunt us later... Zach's going to be taking up $16m & $17m respectively in the last 2 years of his deal... i have a hard time imagining him putting up 20 & 10 on this team over that span because this team has several more options on offense than the team he played on in POR... i can't imagine his trade value ever going up because of these factors... we got him on the cheap for a reason... he's a great talent, but very flawed, & history tells us that flawed players like him pulling down max dollars aren't worth the trouble.

I'm not saying that deal exactly. I think YI is 1 of the three best player in the draft and will be a franchise player with his skills. The likely hood of us stinking enough to get a player as good him in the next few years are slim........... so would you take a chance on getting a player like YI as our future superstar????

I really don't know what the Bucks would want, but a trio of Lee, Zach and Curry should at the very least lose one of those players. To me Zach or Curry would be have to moved if you brought in guy to be your franchise talent. Lee is coming off the Bench for Zach, so why wouldn't he in time for YI???

It can be a plan - get useless Z-bo just to recover Chinese money cow from Mil
If they will do this I will start thinking I was wrong to be low on Dolan/IT duo...

Once again I am amazed that you think that Cablevision or the Dolans are struggling for cash. Get your hands out of Dolan's pocket!

Why trade for a unproven player ? Especially one that comes with more baggage than Z-Bo. Yes, these advisors that are Yi's agent are certainly proving to be very difficult to work with. I understand the whole marketing thing with China and having a player in NY, but at this point I wouldn't give them anything worth much for him. Mil dropped the ball by drafting him in the first place. They told them they did not want to play there and they drafted him anyway.

Sure, let's trade a 23 and 10 guy for someone who cares more about endorsement profitability more than their upcoming rookie season.

Yeah, I'm kinda laughing at those who are willing to give up a lot for the guy, especially after he 1) Refuses to show up for the Bucks, and 2) Put up a poor Summer League showing, 3) Nobody has really seen him that much, at least here. Don't we have enough risks on this team?

That's exactly right. While it's always possible that the guy will be good, when a rook shoots 25% and has 4 1/2 turnonvers (to go with 0.8 assists) against summer league competition, there's a big, bright red flag.

As far as the marketing angle is concerened, you can't market a bust anywhere. No one wants to watch one.

Interesting. But I don't like the idea of losing Morris. He showed some decent shot-blocking ability in the SL and I think he is better than JJ1 right now. We would be losing our future backup center just for the opportunity to get rid of Jeffries. Plus, we would be taking on a bad contract in Simmons, who I think is overpaid.

I wouldn't be so quick to say morris is going to block shots, i heard the same thing about french frye and he was terrible. I am just shocked Isiah drafted the kid to be honest considering he is a limited athlete something isiah never drafts.

Yi is going to probaly get dealt for Branden Wright straight up, thats who the warriors wanted anyway. Yao looked horrific to start his career, dirk really struggled early the kid looked great against the usa team when they played a year ago. Durant looked horrible as well its a big adjustment when your used to doing things against weaker player and the tempo changes. He will be alright, not a superstar but a very good player, i think at least better than the kid in toronoto

I think the kid in Tdot is going to be good and YI wiil be better. He Also has a chance to be top ten player in the NBA because he plays closer to the basket then Barg and he draws contact. Plus he did a really good job getting blocks on weak side help.

I think the Kid is going to be really good and Definitely worth our 1st rounder next year........... which will probably be like 9th-16th. This would be a great chance to our future superstar IMHO
