Everytime there is a post on this topic, before I open it up there are at least three people that I know will be involved...Regardless, when I open it up I know that these three or so people will be attached to the post coming on to destroy any positive associated with it.

I like how Isles now refers to the venture as Marbury "targeting" the poor, like he is a slum lord or street-corner drug dealer.
Hey, lebron James' $150 shoe is "targeting" the poor too, and if a kid can spend 10x less and still feel as good, ain't nothing wrong with that.
Perhaps lost in this conversation is the fact that Marbury owns equity in the venture, compared to all other athletes who sign endorsement deals. As Marbury says "I'd rather own than be owned."
In a society where far too few Black Men own, ain't nothing wrong with setting that positive example, and yes, continuing that
movement, either.
