Nate played well and congratulations to him. I don't want to take too much away from him as I'm glad to see him improve his game, but as far as the MVP award goes, I wonder how man other 3rd year players where getting as many minutes as him? The ascent in a players progress is probably steepest in his first three years in the league, giving Nate a decided advantage over most other SL participants.

Anyway, good to see him upping his worth.

I suggest you actually check out the player rosters or watch the games. The majority of SL participants are a whose who of has beens and never was. You can actually see guys who hadn't been in the league for years. Hell, Tskitishvili is patrolling the SL rosters.

Sorry I'm too lazy to check and you seem to already be doing so. So Green and Tskitishvili. Anyone else?

Isn't this Louis Williams' third year? also, Lamond Murray was playing aswell.

The kid from Philly yeah he played extremely well http://www.nba.com/summerleague2007/players/index.jsp?player=louis_williams

Once again it's SL YMCA pick up ball and nothing more.

I didn't get to watch him but Williams also had a beautiful stat line. He might have been a viable MVP also:

Williams 25.2pts, 5.4 Reb, 5.0 ast, +21 EFF
Nate 19.6 pts, 3.6 reb, 6.0 ast, +18 EFF

I watched Williams in a couple of games (Williams went to South Gwinnett HS which is literally right down the street from me) and you talk a about a shooting guard in a pg's body. This kid would make Iverson blush. He has no conscious and fires from anywhere at anytime. Highly skilled, but really needs to learn to run the point and make players around him better, instead of going for self.

I saw a couple games last yr later in the season when he got more burn with Philly and he appeared to be making small strides in that area. It's hard to it though if your not surrounded by scoring juggernauts or deadly shooters and at the moment Philly doesn't have that. They have a bunch of athletes though I and I feel they'll probably be the most entertaining team in the East.

Good, letys package him in a trade. He looked incredible at times, but its really how he should have looked. Who can we get for me?

If we use this guy for short bursts that are basically limited to as long as he can press the other guard on defense, then he'd be a huge player for us.

If we're trying to use him for something more, that's probably a stretch.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

I wonder if clyde has gotten to work with Mardy yet. I haven't heard him mention. Perhaps the knee surgery put that on delay.

They interviewed Mardy during one of the games and he said he hasn't been able to work out.
I just hope that people will like me

He actually said he can, but he can't b/c he still partially favors his good leg. That would be cool though if Clyde did get to work with him, but I have faith in Collins, regardless.
