Jared is gonna be here, cuz we still need him for certain matchups against tall SF's and quick PF's like Bosh. Q isn't likely to be a good matchup in that situation and neither is Zach. I think Jared will be better in yr 2. I can see Jared being a much better help defender this year as well. He seemed to be snapping out of it late last year. I know he wasn't happy with his game last year.
I'd prefer that we cut James and keep Dickau as insurance, but I highly doubt that happens. The 2 guys to go will be Jones and Dickau IMO. In a funny way James and Malik are perfect for the bench. James due to his lameness and Malik as a player, coach, leader in the lockerroom. Neither Jones nor Dickau would be happy here sitting on the bench.
Isiah's used Balkman on some quick PF's and he can hold his on against taller SF's.
Gee- I seem to recall Balkman guarded Ming- and he did ok if I recall-
And- with Chandler & Nichols- I don't know where Jeffries fits in.
I won't be surprised if Isiah isn't able to do a 3 for 1 type deal, that we see JJ1 get bought out.
Malik is an awesome vet to have- but again, I could see Isiah doing him a favor and buying him out so he has a chance to go join a team with a shot at a championship (Phoenix, etc)
